Chef Joel's cuisine is inspired by the tapas bars of the Basque country (Southern France & Northern Spain) with a focus on seafood, preserved meats and raw foods. Join us for lunch, dinner or snacks & drinks 7 days a week.

What a fantastic time we had at Picnic. Great vibe and All the staff are amazing, especially our waitress who was attentive, engaging and helpful. I recommend for anyone wanting delicious tapas and cocktails to try Picnic. We tried the miss match and sangria cocktails- so delicious and we shared the manchego and mushrooms, duck confit, oysters and the fois gras… all were delicious , our favourite was the fois gras - really amazing. Wish we didn’t live so far away or we’d be frequent customers here for sure .

Very different for Orillia. Very reasonably priced wine selection. Quality ingredients in a tapas format.

So far my fave restaurant in Orillia! The fois gras was incredible, especially loved the tuna, but everything was good.
