Lovely surroundings and excellent meals. Staff were brilliant with our table, very attentive.

Service took too long, waited an hour for food to arrive. Food was tasty enough, but the roast potatoes were waxy and hard to even cut. The beef was tender and other veg fine. Overall the food was decent but the wait times from ordering to food on the table was just too long

Food was nice but service was very slow. Food took 45 mins to arrive from ordering. Drinks took 20 mins after ordering.

A lovely pub and setting with efficient and friendly staff. Was very nice sat outside with just the right background music. The food is what let this place down. I ordered calamari at first of which I sent back because it wasn't cooked so was cold and rubbery. The chicken strips I got to replace them was nice though. Me and my wife both got the lambs shepherd's pie with veg of which was almost sweet tasting and bland veg. My wife had a crumble for sweet which was supposed to be apple and raspberry but was just apple. The drinks were fine that we had and were served efficiently but overall dissapointed

Can’t comment on the food as we left after 20 minutes of being ignored. Only one member of staff but few customers - so no excuse.

Lovely attentive staff Delicious food Didn’t get top marks purely because there were no roast potatoes with the roast lunch - instead, soggy potato wedges, which I left. Such a shame because everything else was great.

First time visitor and was really impressed. Nice pub both inside and out. Food and service excellent. Had the homemade steak pie and mash which was so nice and glad I chose from a good variety on on offer. Definitely go again.
