To start with a positive note; staff helpful with us gaining access for wheelchair user. Unfortunately it was then downhill as the food was underwhelming with two out of four diners unable to finish their meals, eg. gammon too tough and the club sandwich the bread was over toasted therefore too hard and also served cold although the chicken was tender.

Very slow service and preoccupied ( but not with their job) and disinterested service; food was ok though; won’t be returning since this was their second chance after a similar experience a few weeks ago!

Kudo's to the new managers. A group of four of us had dinner here on a Thursday evening. The pub was very busy but even so, the service was great. We enjoyed our food very much. We will be eating there again.

Lovely meal from a menu that offers better than average choices. Had to wait a while for the meal to be served but it was worth the wait. Service was friendly and efficient. We will be going back.

Welcome greeting very friendly staff. Service was excellent. Food was well presented and well cooked. My husband had the trout and said it was the beast meal he had out gor a very long time. Well done,we will be back.

The food was good, very tasty and hot. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Service was prompt and we had a pleasant time and enjoyed our meal.

We waited 1 hour 10 minutes for our food which was average….even though it wasn’t busy.
