Piccolo Buco Roma - set mere steps from Rome's famed Trevi Fountain - is where Cooper's Hawk Founder, Tim McEnery, first discovered Chef Luca Issa and his wonderful pizza. The ingredients were deceptively simple: creamy, indulgent mozzarella mingled with a bright and bold tomato sauce. But it was the extraordinary, tall crust - crisp on the outside yet cloud-like at the center - that won his heart. He couldn't wait to introduce America to a pizza this special!

Another great lunch! Sat outside and you could barely tell you were basically sitting in a parking lot. Great service and the food never disappoints.

Had a great night catching up with my aunt from out of town. Food and service was amazing. The server paid attention to what are table needed.

Food was phenomenal. Best pizza I've had in a long time. Crust is pillowy soft. Braised beef was delicious. And the crostada was mouthwatering.

Today we came for lunch. We had the meat and cheese platter to start. It’s so delicious! After that, we split a carbonara white pizza. It was our first time trying that one. It didn’t rank as one of our favorites but any pizza is good pizza, right? Especially here!!! Our server, Maria, was absolutely amazing! A big thank you to her!

This was my first visit and I would definitely return. There were 3 of us total, so we ordered 3 items to share. We had the white pizza, Cesear salad and the truffle pasta. Everything was delicious. My only “complaint” is that the portions are small for the price you pay. It was fine for 3 women to share but I know my husband would not be satisfied with the portion size. The service was just ok. I am a Cooper’s Hawk member and I had to sort that out twice with our waitress. She never added my discount to the bill and claimed my phone # didn’t come up, so she had to try again (I didn’t give her my membership card at first but then found it so she could re-run our bill). She was also not very attentive and we had to flag her down a few times. Besides the service, I think the food is excellent and definitely worth a visit.
