Piccolo Buco Roma - set mere steps from Rome's famed Trevi Fountain - is where Cooper's Hawk Founder, Tim McEnery, first discovered Chef Luca Issa and his wonderful pizza. The ingredients were deceptively simple: creamy, indulgent mozzarella mingled with a bright and bold tomato sauce. But it was the extraordinary, tall crust - crisp on the outside yet cloud-like at the center - that won his heart. He couldn't wait to introduce America to a pizza this special!

Overall good food, service and has more vibe than Cooper’s hawk. Piccolo Buco is also owned by Cooper’s hawk. The difference here is the menu is particularly very Italian and the wine selection etc is all Cooper’s hawk. The ambience is more brighter than Cooper’s hawk. It’s more lively, a bit noisy and cramped on the space. Got a more bar like feel. We enjoyed our dinner. Will be back. Thanks.

Was a great dining experience . Our waiter was good and the manager was excellent . I asked for a special request and she handled it with perfection . Loved the food and will go again for sure.

Very bad experience. Food was cold when it got to the table. Menu has not changed and it’s getting old. When they made a change to the Cesar salad, I was not informed and the item was made differently. My pizza came in warm, on the side of cold, not hot. Overall a bad experience. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Gave my order to another table and I had to wait for our food to be made. Was in a hurry to leave so didn’t get to enjoy the meal but the manager did comp our drinks.

I ordered the Pappardelle with Short Rib Bolognese paired with the Coopershawk’s Lux Pinot Noir. Delizioso.

Loved doing our wine tasting at the table and also experiencing some Italian wines. Excellent service and food too! It got a little loud as it filled up, so conversation was a little challenging, but the energy was fun. Lots of families which is great!

Like always, everything was awesome. Food, wine and service were spot on. The manager Kelly and server George were terrific as always. Their attention and genuine enthusiasm are so infectious that they always are able to make feel at home. Until next time…

Another great family meal at Piccolo Buco. Logan's service was exceptional. Love that we can have our Coopershawk wine at dinner, makes for a very affordable dinner for a large group. The Gluten free options are great to accommodate allergies, and the food was stellar across the board.
