Piccolo Buco Roma - set mere steps from Rome's famed Trevi Fountain - is where Cooper's Hawk Founder, Tim McEnery, first discovered Chef Luca Issa and his wonderful pizza. The ingredients were deceptively simple: creamy, indulgent mozzarella mingled with a bright and bold tomato sauce. But it was the extraordinary, tall crust - crisp on the outside yet cloud-like at the center - that won his heart. He couldn't wait to introduce America to a pizza this special!

Food and service outstanding. We had the fried squash blossoms, the grape and Aruba salad, spaghetti carbonara, the truffle fondue cappalacci and tiramisu misu. The cappalacci is delicious, tender pasta, a sweet hint of balsamic. The carbonara was classic. The tiramisu misu was quite large served in an oversized square cocktail glass with cream in a small pitcher. We had Charles for our server and he was helpful and attentive without being intrusive.

Squash blossoms were crispy. Great sauce. Pappardelle short rib was tender and a fresh tomato sauce is delicious. Pair with the suggested wine. Cavatelli was good but gummy and could have used more chicken, the mushrooms made up for it.

Another great lunch! Sat outside and you could barely tell you were basically sitting in a parking lot. Great service and the food never disappoints.

Had a great night catching up with my aunt from out of town. Food and service was amazing. The server paid attention to what are table needed.

Food was phenomenal. Best pizza I've had in a long time. Crust is pillowy soft. Braised beef was delicious. And the crostada was mouthwatering.
