Surrounded by Cheshire countryside but within striking distance of both Warrington and Manchester, Stockton Heath is the perfect Cheshire village. Stockton Heath is home to great pubs, bars, and independent shops. It was also the first village in the UK to be awarded a Purple Flag award to highlight its excellent hospitality standards in bars, pubs and restaurants. So it stands to reason that Stockton Heath is home to one of the area’s best Italian restaurants, Piccolino.
Piccolino, an authentic Italian Restaurant, is a proud fixture of the Stockton Heath dining scene. Located in Victoria Square, Piccolino boasts an open kitchen, cocktail bar and substantial alfresco terrace.
We visit the regions, meet the producers and are committed to sourcing the best quality ingredients. At Piccolino, passion for provenance is at the forefront of our menu, which incorporates the best and freshest seasonal produce, Italian cheeses, meat and seafood, all delivering pure classic Italian flavours.

Lovely food and very friendly staff. Music was very loud so sometimes difficult having conversation but overall amazing experience and look forward to returning.

My meal was delicious as always but my husband was a bit disappointed with his he always chooses the spaghetti carbonara as it’s always nice + it’s he favourite dish but this time it wasn’t as good wether it was a different chef to normal . It didn’t ruin our evening as the service was excellent and we had a lovely time I couldn’t fault my meal .

Requested to be sat in the Grande area and it was kindly granted. Beautiful restaurant - fresh, modern and smartly spaced out. Our server Vlad was amazing throughout our sitting. He was so friendly, attentive and funny. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we felt at ease with him. The hand stretched garlic bread with mozzarella & smoked provolo and the taglioni al tartufo were both so delicious, along with the Aperol Spritz and Limocello Spritz. The first bottle of Peroni Capri Citrus was warm unfortunately but then the second one came and it was lovely and cold. Was celebrating my husband’s birthday and Vlad came out surprisingly with a mini cake dessert with Happy Birthday on it which was a wonderful touch and made our visit more personable. Will definitely be returning.

Great service, great food, a little noisy in new area but would only affect if you wanted a romantic intimate meal.
