Piccolino, an authentic Italian Restaurant, is a proud fixture of the Liverpool dining scene. Piccolino is located on Cook Street and boasts an open kitchen and a small but perfectly formed alfresco terrace.
Italy’s diverse cuisine is the heart and soul of Piccolino. We visit the regions, meet the producers and are committed to sourcing the best quality ingredients. Unquestionably my favourite Italian restaurant in Liverpool and - IMHO - the best. Consistently good food and great service.

Very relaxing atmosphere, comfortable and well managed. Ehran looked after us and was very good. The food was what you would expect from a good Italian restaurant, very nice. We will return to Piccolino’s.

Fantastic food and service, lacked a little atmosphere but this was due to it being a quiet Wednesday evening. Staff were brilliant and food was full of flavour.

On arrival we had to wait 20 minutes for our table even though we had booked a table for 8pm. The waitress was very rude and got our order wrong. This meant I had to eat my meal by myself and my fiance had to have his after. There was nothing offered for this mistake and no money taken off the bill. We were celebrating our engagement and felt it was very disappointing. We will not be back.

Staff were very friendly but from the outset we were told of a large amount of menu food that was not available( mainly fish)-the wine was overpriced for what it was-some main course food was cold on first delivery, but heated up on request-we paid for three scoops of ice cream for desert & only had two- this was ,in my humble opinion , NOT a £100 meal.

Foods was ok but service was a bit slow and a kids eat free during summer holidays offer was not applied to our bill, yes we could have asked but it should have been automatically applied, kids pizzas had hardly any cheese on them anyway.

The carpaccio and calamari were delicious and the truffle carbonara was incredible.
