Piccolino, an authentic Italian Restaurant, is a proud fixture of the Liverpool dining scene. Piccolino is located on Cook Street and boasts an open kitchen and a small but perfectly formed alfresco terrace.
Italy’s diverse cuisine is the heart and soul of Piccolino. We visit the regions, meet the producers and are committed to sourcing the best quality ingredients. Hesitated about this place when I read it was a chain and so close to the Cavern club etc but food was outstanding so great!

The roast beef was too well done tasted like liver. My baked fish also overdone, little taste. Roasties tasted burned under grill. Disappointing because we used to visit a lot.

I went on a solo date and the staff were very nice and attentive, Food was great too.

On entering the restaurant we were warmly welcomed and our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. I had the duck whoch delicious. Overall a lovely experience

We visited Piccolinos as a group of six on a Friday evening and all six of us left very impressed. Our waiter Ehran was outstanding, he looked after us very well, listened carefully and made our overall experience excellent. The food was all great and I will definitely return to this restaurant to try more of the menu options. I overall enjoyed this experience and had a lovely evening all thanks to our waiter.

Lovely evening Scallops and Lambs Liver for starters followed by Spaghetti Bolognaise and Seabass with Cannellini beans perfect washed down with a bottle of Merlot

I was shocked to see how old fashioned the decor was and not the traditional blue but the lady explained it was an old one and they are relocating. Toilets not very nice tbh but the food was lovely. My daughter had ceaser salad, I had the linguine and my friend had Duck, will say my daughter’s fries could of been warmer but apart from that all good and easy to find

Really enjoyed our anniversary at Piccolino. The food was delicious, whole sea beam - completely outstanding. Service was friendly and attentive but not overly. Lovely evening.

Lovely evening once again tried the new calves liver starter was really good followed by Fillet al Pepe with fries and Pizza Spagna all cooked perfect all staff very attentive we really enjoy coming to Picolino’s
