Picturesque Ilkley is a former spa town situated to the South of the Yorkshire Dales. Ilkley is renowned for its fresh air, moorland, and beautiful countryside. However, the town is also the ideal place to relax and treat yourself. There are independent shops selling everything from gifts to vintage clothes and books, along with cosy tearooms and some of Yorkshire’s best restaurants.
Piccolino, an authentic Italian Restaurant, is a proud fixture of the Ilkley dining scene. Ideally situated on Brook Street, Piccolino in Ilkley boasts an open kitchen, cocktail bar, and year-round outside terrace with a fully retractable roof, for the ultimate alfresco experience rain or shine!
We visit the regions, meet the producers and are committed to sourcing the best quality ingredients. Our passion for provenance is at the forefront of our menu, which incorporates the best and freshest seasonal produce, Italian cheeses, meat and seafood.

Amazing roof top setting. Service seemed very chaotic and food on the whole was underwhelming not worthy of expensive price tag .

Excellent service & food. Great ambiance upstairs in the semi open air on a warm Summer’s evening. The Restaurant is highly recommended

Lovely food, served promptly, friendly waiters and staff. Prawns were in a fab sauce, 4 of us dined and had a very enjoyable evening.

Really nice restaurant great location, all staff friendly and helpful service times just right. The Friday afternoon club member offer is excellent value great selection of menu items and drinks. Will definitely go again.

Had an excellent steak. Nicely flavoured & cooked. Wanted the rooftop but we have a 90 year old lady with us. No lift so settled for ground floor by the window which was very pleasant. We were nicely welcomed and service was excellent initially. However did have to prompt for bill. The Tiramissu had lovely Italian flavours and incredibly tasty. It was nice for all the staff to bring a cake & sing Happy Birthday which added to an excellent experience

We’ve eaten here many times before and have always had a good experience. However, not this time. We were seated at a table for 2 by the bar on the rooftop. As the restaurant became busier, we were literally at arms length from people drinking and drinking and were stared at by everyone drinking at the bar. The term goldfish bowl comes to mind. Also, diners and staff were walking quickly past our table which was now a “runway” from the door to the bar area as the restaurant became busier. I’ve never felt less inclined to linger and enjoy my meal. We chose the £25 pp menu having seen this on Open Table. We knew we would pay more as we bought a bottle of zero alcohol Prosecco and a bottle of water. However when the waitress came with the bill, she demanded (yes, demanded) our loyalty number and when we asked what she meant, she said in no uncertain terms that only members could enjoy the £25 pp menu. We then queried why she had only pointed this out AFTER we had eaten. “well, it’s written on the menu” she curtly replied. Absolutely unfair and quite honestly the rudeness was unbelievable. Oh and we had been asked 3 times by 3 different members of staff “is the food ok?” Once is enough thanks. The same waitress also cleared away our plates while I was still eating my first course. If the manager reads reviews - please train your staff better.

Lovely meal as always on the roof terrace. Food was fantastic and great value. Emma and Antonio were very hospital and helpful, understanding and helpful with my sister who was visiting on crutches. Ambiance was quite lively but that was due to a number of parties being in. Would recommend and will come again :)

Lovely food,really enjoyed it,service very good,lovely staff. Not happy paying for water! Unacceptable,was asked if we wanted water at table,presumed there was no charge,but billed. Should be made aware
