A treasure in the heart of Henley-on-Thames, the newest addition to the Piccolino family brings a flavour of Italy to this historic market town. Located in a grade ii listed building, the Piccolino, henley embodies the charm and sophistication of authentic Italian dining.

Set to open on Tuesday 25th June 2024, this culinary haven promises an exclusive gastronomic experience, with a stunning river walk entrance and elegantly designed spaces including two bars, a winterised courtyard, and a unique private dining room.

The restaurant features 140 seats inside and a delightful 38 seat patio, offering a picturesque setting in the town’s vibrant center.

Great service and ambiance… service very slow from kitchen 45 minutes for mains after starters were finished due to valentines weekend… therefore not their usual levels of service , would t deter us from revisiting as previously it has been slicker

Brilliant evening, lovely good and restaurant- pity about the very noisy extractor fan noise above our table.

Expensive for what it was, food didn’t come out all at once. Beautiful restaurant but well over priced. Don’t think I will be going back unfortunately

Went back thx to a kind gesture to offer money off our next meal after our previous experience. The service was a huge improvement on the previous visit and plenty of experienced staff which was good. The decor/ ambience is good. But i have to say we all found the food quite average. Pasta dishes all round and all were very bland. I had the Linguini Vongole, very few clams, almost no seasoning. Others said similar in our group. Its a nice space but I just don’t think the food is up to it. For a better and cheaper italian meal I’d suggest Al Forno,

Good to have this new restaurant in Henley. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Food was good but rather than expensive for what you got.
