A treasure in the heart of Henley-on-Thames, the newest addition to the Piccolino family brings a flavour of Italy to this historic market town. Located in a grade ii listed building, the Piccolino, henley embodies the charm and sophistication of authentic Italian dining.

Set to open on Tuesday 25th June 2024, this culinary haven promises an exclusive gastronomic experience, with a stunning river walk entrance and elegantly designed spaces including two bars, a winterised courtyard, and a unique private dining room.

The restaurant features 140 seats inside and a delightful 38 seat patio, offering a picturesque setting in the town’s vibrant center.

Service was great, all staff very friendly. Food was great, only the crispy duck was not crispy at all, so I would recommend other options. Place is great.

Lovely decor, nice management but floor staff were literally brand new and not shadowed / supervised enough - felt like it should have been a soft opening not a live night. Still charged (suggested of course...) 12.5% service despite us supporting the team during their training session.... Food was good but not great. Some value shockers like the green veg side orders. Hope it gets as good as its' Marlow and Heddon St siblings....

3 waiters asked us what we were drinking 5 different waiters served us Ridiculous palaver to register for 15% off Monday & Tuesday and badly handled by staff. Atmosphere lacking Food lacking presentation Overall disappointing

We arrived an hour early and sat outside for pre dinner drinks and the barman ( sadly didn’t get his name!) was excellent! Knowledgeable and slightly cheeky which was a good mix! The lady who served our meal was great - didn’t rush us but spot on with keeping an eye out. All round a great evening. Only one thing was our Daughter in law had ordered some lemoncello for us as a surprise (she wasn’t with us) but it was never delivered. Didn’t spoil anything as we didn’t know till the next day! We will return and pleased we have a Piccolino in Henley!

Service terrible. Considering it’s a new restaurant you would think they had better training. No one was friendly and was ignored on several occasions.

Lovely decor love the vibe. Greeting staff were lovely. Know staff are fairly new so giving our waitress the benefit of the doubt she wasn’t fabulous we usually visit Virginia water but we love in Henley so super excited you are here just waitress wasn’t your usual bubbly standard. Husbands carbonara was a little watery not creamy enough. It’s usually much tastier
