The food we ordered was lovely, but the service was fairly poor. We felt like the young female waitresses just didn’t want to be there, and they were passing hot food plates over us, telling us to be careful grabbing them off her as they were hot, rather than placing them down safely. We also felt the rose wine to be extremely overpriced for the brand it was.

Service was a little slow as it took a while for our drinks order to be taken and our plates to be cleared on a regular quiet day, but food was fantastic. 10% service charge on bill too, on a table of 2.

We’ve been here many times and always enjoyed it, so booked for Fathers Day. The service was absolutely shockingly bad. We waited over an hour for our starters, then a further 40 mins for main course. Took over 20 mins for a pint of larger. None of the staff asked if we were ok, apologised for delay, etc. Half an hour after we’d finished eating I asked for the bill- our plates were still on the table! And no desert menu offered. Terrible Father’s Day experience

We love it here and it’s our local restaurant. Never been on a special day before. We came for Father’s Day, had to wait for our table even though we booked. Had to ask to order food as no one came to us after a while. The staff are so lovely and can’t fault them at all but was just a bit too busy and maybe needed more staff, they were rushed off feet. Food was lovely as always
