Really wonderful 30th birthday celebration at Piccolino! The food was great but the staff were incredible, really attentive and nothing was a bother.

We booked dinner here to celebrate a graduation. The wait staff and food were great but the front of house really let this restaurant down. We had a table booked for 7PM but arrived about 20 minutes early. I tried phoning ahead to ask if was ok to move our booking to an earlier slot but couldn't get through both times. When we arrived, we were greeted with the man's back for a while before he turned around. After explaining about trying to call ahead and if we were able to be sat at our table a bit earlier, he made a face and said it wasn't a great even though the whole row of tables behind him were empty. This really soured what was meant to be a lovely celebration dinner. They also forgot the celebratory free graduation drinks. I definitely won't be going back or recommending it.

A perfect evening!! The welcome was warm, service throughout the night was fantastic and attentive. The food was beautiful, I had fillet steak and my wife had carbonara. Also, as was “wine Wednesday” we got 50% off our Veuve Cliquot champagne… All things considered, a wonderful evening.

Visited for my daughter’s graduation and we loved it from the moment we got there. We had such a warm welcome, congratulating my daughter on her success. Seated at a lovely table, told about all the offer’s ie half price drinks we also received a glass of complimentary Prosecco as it was graduation day. Food and service were both amazing, lovely end to a perfect day.

I loved piccolino.The best Italian restaurant ever. Very good service. All the dishes were very tasty, very good quality and quantity. I definitely recommend , it s worth to eat here whenever you visit Birmingham.

The food tastes good,but it’s a bit salty ,and the lighting is dim, in addition there is no parking space , the navigation system took me to the back of the restaurant, and I had to go around in a big circle to reach the nearby parking lot

Loved the vibe! Staff were really amazing, one thing I could say is. I expected more from the tiramisu dessert, an italian restaurant should be able to serve the traditional dessert that looks presentable. Whereas the one I ordered looked like it was a corner piece scooped out a tub. It was delicious but presentation could’ve been better as it’s an authentic Italian dessert. Besides that, everything else was fantastic

The restaurant needs updating a bit as I noticed large areas of the ceiling and some tables patched up with tape. But I couldn’t fault the food or service. Excellent as always!
