We ate here July 4th at 8PM. The city and every other restaurant was empty but Picolla was jam packed with locals and that’s how e knew it was going to be great and it was in every way. The big bombastic Italian hostess was great and super nice. She had this bustling place extremely under control. Our server Yullios from Mexico was outstanding. Most importantly the food was amazing - authentic homemade pasta from Sicily with amazing sauces and reasonable prices. It was the only restaurant I’ve been to where the check has a suggested tip that is only on the food and wine bill and does not include taxes. We were so amazed with everything we gave a 33% tip. With all the overpriced food and horrible service in NY these days don’t miss Piccola - it is a gem!

We had dinner on a Thursday and had an amazing time. We sat at the bar and the food was fantastic! The octopus caprese was perfectly cooked, and the prosciutto with buratta were super fresh and tasty. The lasagna was incredible, melting in your mouth with every bite. For dessert, the cannoli and tiramisu were a must-have. The place had a great vibe, and the staff were really friendly. Shoutout to Marco, the bartender, for his friendly service. Highly recommend checking it out!

Phenomenal food, as always! Perfection. Our guest lived in Florence for years and recognized the food as totally authentic Italian.

Fabulous experience. The food was outstanding, wine and cocktail menu was diverse and creative, the service was gracious and efficient. What a wonderful experience. This was our 4th time dining at this location and we’ll be back many more times. Thank you!

Incredible food. Impeccable service. Fantastic menu and so many delicious choices from appetizers, to salads, to entrees, to desserts. Knowledgeable staff ready and willing to help you with your choices. Cannot wait to go back.

The service was impeccable! It truly felt like a slice of Italy! Highly recommend the Cacio e pepe- it is served in a wheel of parmesan!

Excellent italian food and service. The waitress was patience, nice and sweet even though the loud noise. When we got there our table wasn't ready because people wasn't living however they made it up with a great spacious table, the lady in charge was so good with us also. Excellent experience, was worth the wait!! The pasta and desserts is a must to have it!
