This is the new and improved Piatti. It is all of that! Excellent food, service, and cocktails! It is well run under the leadership of GM Giovanni.

Piatti’s as always been one of our favorite restaurants. Piatti’s had been closed for several months to remodel/refresh. Honestly, it isn’t really obvious when you get inside that there has been a remodel - I would call it a refresh. Our server was great. Our biggest disappointment was the food. I had the Petrale sole, which in the past has always been my favorite. The lemon and caper butter sauce was lackluster and the capers were few and far between. My husband ordered the salmon. It was overcooked. Since my husband asked for the sauce on the side, it’s hard to be critical about the lack of flavor, however, I did try the balsamic vinegar before bland and all I tasted was olive oil. Is there a new chef? New recipes? It was such a disappointment, I’m not sure about returning.

Food was great as usual. My wife's a vegetarian and always has great options. Service was great as well.

Piatti's is one of our go to restaurants. Always consistent! Love the remodel. On the back room where we seated (my favorite) there are a few too many tables. It seems very crowded and when trying to get through to your table you almost feel like you are going to run into the ones that are seated and eating. Other than that wonderful!!!

Ordered the Flat Iron Steak and it was cooked to perfection. The side were also very good. The service was outstanding. Thank you, Armando.

Prices cont. to rise for entrees we’ve enjoyed in the past are higher in a short period of time-ex: Mary’s chicken. We had one of the sandwiches( which was the turkey with a salad.- big enough for two! The sandwich was great packed with bacon caramelized onions and avocado as well as deicious turkey don’t change this! As usual service is great!

Have been going for many years. Had not been in 2. Not much has changed in the noise level. Unless you sit in booth you cannot gem ave a conversation. Fortunately we had a booth. Our server was outstanding .. very accommodating and very friendly . Patricia was most gracious and efficient but took time to chat in a busy Saturday night. Food: good great menu choices and always a special. However , 2 of our entrees : petrole sole and chicken picatta were not only HUGE portions but very oily w too much butter-oil. Very rich. Our guests ordered pastas bolognese and rigatoni. Very good ! The minestrone soup could use freshness. It tasted like canned . Piattis bread and dip remained unchanged ; delicious and always fresh bread ! We won’t order our 2 entrees agsin .. too rich. Stick w pasta/ salad appetizers.

Great food including delicious updates dishes from pre-Reno menu especially bread /dipping sauce and misto salad. Ravioli was a little dry and waitress kept forgetting about us, disappointing. But we will be back.
