Phuc Yea offers a selection of shareable plates that capture the soulfulness and passion behind family-rooted recipes, the restaurant is inspired by Aniece Meinhold's Vietnamese heritage and Cesar Zapata's Third Coast culinary roots. Under one roof, guests are invited to marvel at Biscayne's blossoming Mimo District; embrace 90's hip-hop, street-cool music; and enjoy Cesar's version of Viet- Cajun cuisine - a lively mash up of fresh and colorful Vietnamese ingredients pumped up with spicy, bold Cajun flavors. This grown up version of Phuc Yea is largely seafood driven.

Brunch features a dim sum style menu that highlights classic American brunch preparations. It is at brunch, Chef Zapata will feature his Gulf and Southern influences more prominently while still integrating Vietnamese breakfast tradition.

Third Sunday brunch in a row, I would say I like the place. This time we did Miami spice. Nice portions and a great way to try the menu. I recommend it.

FANTASTIC!!!!! Everything was great. Live nearby & for so long never tried, well, that will change. Highly recommend, parking in the back. Easy access.

Always a good experience. Have the short rib either alone or in the Pho during Sunday brunch. Cocktails are great too.

I love Vietnamese food and grew up in Vietnam. I always look for new spots and when I read reviews of Phuc Yea, invited friends to join and discover. Ambiance/decor nice vibe check. However, wait staff slow, inattentive and tedious (our table order of Miami spice appetizers arrived 10mn apart after 20mn initial wait, we had to request water refill at least 3 or 4 times, cleaning and interruption for service were a bit in your face etc....The menu , even outside of Miami Spice special, is quite limited and not so Vietnamese (even Cha Gio were an extra, came with a few salad leaves but no usual mint & usual herbs/coriander; veggies or sides (sticky ride or noodles) are not part of a $20+ entree plate, Cornish hen dish not exactly Viet inspired and too hot to eat for 2 of our guests...and the only dessert option was as carrot cake (real typical Vietnamese) !!! Great choice of cocktails but $18 to even $ 29 a glass is abusive even by Miami standards...This place is overrated and underdelivers, should offer wider and more interesting variety of dishes, even with a twist at least remotely based upon Vietnamese cuisine that has so much to offer: I didn't see a Pho, no Bo Bun, not fish cooked in a leaf etc... ...not a single use of duck or pork Asian inspired...!! Quite disappointing and real expensive for value delivered.

Phuc Yea is consistently awesome! We have never had a less-than-stellar experience. The food is so unique and always delicious! The staff is high-performing, attentive, and fun! And the IYKYK decor and cool kid ambiance is amazinf.
