Poor service, poor food quality (curry is one of my favourite ever and it was extra salty). Plates for starters and main were dirty. We had to call the waiters to be served. This chain used to have standards! Seems like it all went down the drain.

My first visit to this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The whole family was very happy with the portions and good value for money as well. The service was great considering seeing how busy the restaurant was. The only slight comment we have, being from the far east, is the broth was not hot enough (not meaning spicy) when it got to our table. We will return.

The server was polite, friendly and informative, the food was delicious and restrauant was clean.

We were overlooked by workers there all the time and needed to call or go for them all the time. And I mean ALL the time. When we wanted order the food and even pay. They left the machine by the table and never came back to collect it so we have to return it to the “bar”. Also food wasn’t good at all. Chicken was undercooked and old in both dishes.

Pho was very salty and herbs did not appear to be fresh. Have visited the Edinburgh location and had much better experience with the food there. Edit: herbs may have been fresh (delivered that day) but were wilted when they were served to us, an indication to me that they had been sitting out. May just need to reconsider how herbs are stored (in an enclosed, refrigerated chamber).

Hello Anonymous, im so sorry to hear you had such a disappointing time with me here at Pho Borough, i checked the stocks every hour and hadnt come across an issue on Monday plus we had a big delivery of lovely fresh herbs that day, so its disappointing to read you had such terrible time :( If you ever do give us another chance, hopefully we can wow you into a 5 star experience. I visit every few weeks for a meal. However, on this visit the service was slow, starters and mains look along time to come out. We ordered prawn crackers and they never arrived. That being said, staff were friendly as always but looked very over stretched, hence, time it took to get served.

Hello anonymous, im so sorry you had such a disappointing experience with us here at Pho Borough. Yes we had the unfortunate circumstance of a kitchen member cutting his hand during service and having to go to hospital, which in turn had a knock on affect on timings. Im glad you could see that the team were trying their best under these unforeseen circumstances. Hopefully you will give us another go and we can wow you with our usual 5 star service. Been here before and food was lovely. But unfortunately it didn’t live up to our visit this time. Food tasted tasteless, crispy shrimp was not crispy, more rubbery. The hot and spicy pho we normally have was not spicy, was really looking forward to it, and was highly disappointed, after waiting a while.

The food here is always good but the service is hit and miss, last night was a miss, it was very slow and mistakes were made but if you keep that in mind when you go, its still enjoyable food and good value - so I will go back
