Located in Grand Central train station, Pho is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant that specialise in pho noodle soup, the national dish of Vietnam. Aside from pho, you can also expect to find amazing sharing starters, healthy salads, hearty rice bowls and decadent curries. They have a range of freshly made juices and also Vietnamese beers and a large wine and cocktail list. Pho’s menu is 40% vegan and nearly entirely gluten-free too. They also have an accessible kids’ menu where children can get a meal and a drink for £5.50.

Absolutely loved dining at Pho. We had a fabulous experience and would definitely, come back next time we are in Birmingham. Thank you .

My partner has a nut allergy, which was made known to the staff. Despite this, he was served food containing nuts. The manager completely ignored us, not even coming to our table. We waited a long time for a replacement dish, yet there was no apology from the manager - as if nothing had happened. If my partner had eaten that dish, he could have ended up in A&E or even faced more severe consequences, as he is highly allergic to nuts. I would like the head office to get in touch with me!

Arrived for booking- host pulled a face that we had a baby with us. Went to table, had to call waitress over to order. Asked for food to come together, 15 min wait for drinks, then half of food from one order came. Had to ask for rest of order., shrimp paste missing asked for it told meal didn’t come with it. Pointed it out on menu. Then adults meals from second order came but not kids meals. Took a further 15 minutes for kids meals to arrive however they had been put through in correctly. Had to wait again for fresh kids meals- all adults had finished at this point. Asked for bill, second bill was wrong had been overcharged. To leave a positive Food was nice though.

Been here a few times now and has never let me down, food is tasty and full of flavour and for has a decent kick to it. Waiter / Waitress was good recommend dishes for our tastes buds, defo recommend 👌🏾

The menu wasn’t great. I have food allergies and I didn’t feel that there was much choice or much of an explanation of ingredients. No one enjoyed the food. When we came to pay we had some issues and once payment had been made the handheld device we were given for payment showed that we could have received a student discount. This would have come in very handy if we knew that we could have used this before paying as there was more than one student at the table. Over all it was really disappointing and due to the food not being great we had to still go and get food afterwards as we were hungry.

Very unhelpful waiter, perhaps new as I haven't seen him before. Wrong order, unhelpful response to this and all questions. Rubbish experience and the food wasn't great this time and apple juice tasted off.

When we are going to a gig or a show in Birmingham, then we often go to Pho for tea beforehand. All the family like it. The veggie spring rolls and spicy curry have become a staple. There is sometimes a queue if you just turn up, but you can reserve a table. Service is pretty speedy, and reliable. The food is always really good.

Never had a bad meal here. Food is just amazing. Have to wait a bit to.order and pay sometimes but food comes out quickly enough. Thoroughly recommend.

I love Pho, it’s lovely food. However, ordering veggie summer rolls and saying I’m vegan and the server saying yes chicken, with me again saying no vegan and again saying yes chicken. The food came and I was given chicken. Even when saying vegan again, the server said yes chicken. I had to get another server to explain I’m vegan and I don’t want chicken. It took an extra 15 minutes to come, which was finally veggie. Just really concerning. It’s not an allergy, however this needs to be taken seriously. Also, no pancakes, which on a Saturday evening was really sad. These are amazing and that’s all I wanted.
