    The restaurant is very clean and upscale. The host greeting you was professional. Unfortunately there were several inconveniences that occurred during the night. We ordered off the 3 course meal. We gave the waitress each of our orders. Someone in my party is GF and the dessert options were not GF. She said she would look into if the sorbet was GF and what flavors they had as an accommodation. She never followed up. First course came, lettuce wraps were delicious. Good amount of food. We waited over 20 minutes between our first and second course. When the second course finally arrived, the wrong order was brought. They brought the correct item within 6 minutes but still was awkward to watch my friend eat a quarter of her meal while I waited for my correct item. Prior to dessert, they bring you hand towels to wipe up. Nice touch but the scent of these towels is foul and overbearing. So much so that when you are eating and the table next to you uses them, it distracts from the meal, in addition to personal use and the scent remains on your hand. My guest went as far as to go wash it off because she could not tolerate the smell. I think a non scented option would be much better. When dessert came, both cakes were packed to go. So I opened the to go container and ate the cake out of that even though I said Id eat it in person and my friend would take hers to go and give to me, still disappointed she didn’t get a GF offer/option. Overall, given that this is supposed to be a fine dining option, I was disappointed by these mishaps as a first time guest who wanted to enjoy a luxury experience.

    It was New Years Eve and our reservation was at 9:30PM. I understand it was late and last serving, however, the service was not good. The server was very nice but was never around. A few times just chatting with other colleagues. We asked for a couple of things that either took a long time or never made it to the table. The meal was 2 hours long and not because the 60 min wait for the peking duck, but because everything took forever. Moreover, super loud music (ok, NYE) and people were being loud all around. Just disappointing experience.

    My expectations on the restaurant were a little higher than what we experienced. Decoration and ambiance are nice. Service is not bad. But when you start with the food, it is where disappointment starts. It is clear that they use good ingredients but the food arrives cold at the table… so there is some bad coordination at the kitchen. We had four plates at the table, and three of them were at room temperature. Only one plate was hot. Clearly, it was not what we were expecting from the Restaurant. Flavors are OK, but nothing to impress. The Wharf has many restaurants to choose from… and this is not one that we will repeat.

    Sehr schönes Gesamterlebnis. Super Essen, guter Service, angenehme Atmosphäre. Vor allem schön, dass es nicht wie andererorts laute Musik gibt. Achtung, der Tip ist bereits automatisch aufgerechnet und es gibt trotzdem eine Zeile um noch welchen abzugeben. Das ist erwas frech, wie wir finden.

    Requested a booth 3 weeks ago, arrived and seated at a regular table while smaller parties accommodated. Food orders were delivered inaccurate from the start… ours to another table. Chilean Sea Bass was ice cold, crispy beef NOT CRISPY but chewy and inedible. Felt sorry for the server. Once corrected, orders were duplicated and came in stages… at this point, no longer interested in continuing the experience… boxed up for later and could have settled for regular takeout from my local Chinese restaurant. Christmas dinner was not MERRY.
