Average experience. Food was good but nothing amazing. Service was lackluster. Had to constantly flag down a service member to refill water glasses several times, ask for another cocktail, check presentation, etc...Server very inexperienced and it showed when she had to look at our menu to see what our options were for spring rolls (chicken, shrimp, vegetables), satays (beef or chicken) and when we asked to pay for a specific amount of our bill on one CC and the remainder on another, we were told it could only be split 50/50 which wasn't true since they were able to do it as we asked in the end.

Staying in the L'Enfant Plaza area, I saw Philippe on Open Table. Aesthetic design, lovely view of the waterfront and the setting sun. Welcoming and friendly staff were helpful and courteous. The food was delicious. My wife and I were pleasantly shocked by how much better the dishes we shared were compared to our local Asian restaurants. The prices were somewhat high but too much compared to other fine dining venues.

Harlan was an excellent server and gave us wonderful recommendations! We lived sitting on the patio and watching the wharf. The food and ambiance were perfect.

We had the Peking Duck and it was delicious... but have plenty of time! Menu says it can take 45-60 minutes and ours took 75min... so plan accordingly.

We love this restaurant. I never miss a chance to go when we are in town. The staff is wonderful. The food is delicious and the wine list is top quality. Love love love!

Nobody came to our table for half an hour. The food took way too long. We complain to the manager, but he did nothing. The food is good, but the service is not .

I had a reservation and dined solo and the welcome experience from the front desk was great. I was presented with two table options, one indoor and one outdoor, which was great. I selected an outdoor table and received water quickly. The ambience was great but my waiter service started off terribly and went down from there. My waiter didn’t introduce himself greeted me very casually with a “you’ve been here before right?” I said I’ve never been to this location so I guess that entitled me to less than great service. He asked if I wanted a drink but I never received a drink menu. He took my drink order and I was waiting for 10-15 minutes before he finally came back without the drink to take my food order. He didn’t try to engage in any conversation with me around the menu and asked if I was ready to place my whole order after I gave him my appetizers. Felt a bit rushed but okay. I placed my order and I then only saw him in passing. I wasn’t checked on, my drink sat empty because he didn’t come back to ask if I needed anything. I had to flag him down to get another drink. He never asked if I wanted dessert, I had to flag him down to get a menu, he instead asked if I was ready to go. I felt rushed and abandoned at the same time. I got a dessert menu and ordered. Halfway through the dessert wasn’t as great and I was ready to go since I had been there for over 3 hours. I had to flag him down again to get the check as he chatted with other tables and never came back to me. He said he would bring it and I waited another 20 minutes until someone at a different table who also had him as a waiter had to ask a different waiter for her check because she was tired of waiting. I also asked the waiter for my check as I had been waiting. We discussed our shared terrible experience but agreed the food was good. The second waiter brought out our checks immediately. I’m not sure what the issue was with the original waiter but his service didn’t match the ambiance of the restaurant.
