Petrini's, in the heart of San Diego's Little Italy neighborhood, serves homemade Italian dishes with a traditional authentic dishes. If you go to Music box, stop by for a dinner and a cup of wine before the show. We offer Brunch, Lunch and Dinner menus 7 days a week.

The diablo shrimp in spicy wing sauce with lemon and cream, served with garlic cheese bread makes the perfect starter to your meal. Some of Petrini's' specialty entrée dishes include the smoked salmon alfredo sautéed with tomatoes and basil, garlic and rosemary served with spaghetti with tangy Pomodoro sauce and the baked white fish coated in seasoned bread crumbs in wine, butter and garlic sauce with Tuscan vegetables. Handhelds, such as the classic meatball hoagie, the vegetarian caponata sandwich with tomato-stewed eggplant and the craft-your-own pizzas, are other diner favorites.
For a sweet end to your meal at Petrini's, enjoy a homemade classic Italian dessert, the layered tiramisu cake.

I have walked past Petrini's several times, finally took the opportunity to try it. I was greeted and made to feel comfortable upon arrival. I was pleasantly surprised that the dinner entrees came with soup or salad and bread, unlike many eateries in Little Italy. I chose the parpadelle with lamb. It was perfection! I plan to return to try some other menu items.

Food and prices were outstanding. Service was slow. Seemed to be a neighborhood place where service was prioritized to repeat patrons.

Visited this restaurant while we were visiting from Northern California for my son’s 21st bday. The food was amazing. The shrimp scampi was awesome. The others had pasta and chicken picatta and all thought it was exceptional. Well done Petrini’s.

All staff were fantastic and always looking on your needs. Food experience also great! Definitely a must on Coronado Island

We sent back two dishes and the restaurant couldn’t care less if we left happy or not. Our waitress was sweet but inexperienced. The owner or manager was so rude when we sent back the food, hedidn’t offer to replace it or anything. We sent back full plates of food; this wasn’t a “eat the meal then complain about it” situation. The waitress came by to offer another dish but by the time she came by, everyone had finished eating. We ended up going through a drive thru to feed the two who didn’t eat. We had a reservation and they couldn’t take our order when we were ready to order because the kitchen was backed up and then they charged for mediocre garlic bread. We had kids that were super hungry, so we had to order the break to hold them over until the kitchen was ready to take our order. I will never go back to this place. It’s no surprise they don’t have a place on the main strip with subpar food and horrid service. I have eaten in little Italy many times, but only at the higher end restaurants on the main strip. I can see the difference between the two. I was a waitress for 15 years and can tell you I would have never let customers have the experience we did.

My family and I love Petrinis. My husband has known this place since 2005. Its a cozy place with lots of great food.

This was a last minute reservation and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was so friendly and it’s a casual ambiance which I appreciated after walking around all day. The food was great. We had salads and everything was fresh and tasty. We order the chicken parmigiana, tortellini Alfredo, and lasagna. All were excellent. My only critique was the Alfredo was a bit thicker my liking but overall you can tell was freshly made. The tomato sauce tasted very homemade which was nice. The prices were excellent too.
