Our building, a one story gray structure, sits back from the street, so we are easy to pass by! We offer complimentary Valet parking on our private parking lot and the side street is owned by Petite Violette as well.

My husband and I love coming here. It’s one of our favorite restaurants in Atlanta. The food is always excellent. The service is terrific and you can have a nice conversation.

My friends and I have been dining at Petite Violette for years and always enjoy the food, service and atmosphere. We routinely have 8 or more in our party and are welcomed and treated well, unlike many Atlanta restaurants who shun large parties. Looking forward to our next visit.

Greeting by hostess was excellent. She acknowledged our Anniversary right away. We were given an option of a table near the music or away. We chose away, although the singer was incredible and we would have been happy either way. Our server, Marcus, was attentive and had a sense of humor. The lobster crepes were incredible. The crepes were perfectly thin and loaded with lobster. The escargot was OK. The cream sauce was broken and did not have a lot of flavor. Main dishes were also great. Coquille St Jacques had perfectly cooked scallops, deliciously garlicky spinach and the sauce brought it all together perfectly. Veal scallopine with mushroom risotto was full of a variety of mushrooms and perfectly cooked. The veal was tender and well fried. Dessert- the pistachio ice cream in the profiteroles were sublime!

Overall, Petit Violette is a restaurant for special occasions. My wife and I agree the food was above average but not extraordinary. The service was very good to excellent. Our waitress was attentive. Our food, once ordered - was served promptly. We both thought the onion soup was close to the gold standard. The soup had tasty caramelized onions and the broth had a somewhat sweet onion flavor. The melted Gruyère cheese on the top had just the right consistency you want for traditional French. onion soup. At the bottom of the soup bowl was toasted bread that had absorbed the delicious flavor of the broth. My wife and I shared the Escargots Provencale. We enjoyed the six plumb escargots but were not thrilled with the Sherried Cream Sauce. I could not taste the Garlic Parsley Butter. The Puff Pastry added little to the taste of this dish. We would have preferred a more traditional version by eating the escargots out of their shells with garlic parsley butter. I ordered the Boeuf Bourguignon. There was a huge portion of a braised beef short rib. It was very tender. The Burgundy Wine Sauce was not evident in this dish. I would have preferred a different type of cause that was truly flavorful and complemented the short ribs. The carrots, pearl onions. mushroom and pommes purée were plentiful and a very good compliments to this dish. My wife had the Coq Au Vin. Again, the portion size was much larger than she anticipated. She thought the flavor of the chicken was good. There was a large side of Haricot Vert - Green Beans - and Pommes Puree or mashed. potato. We finished the meal with crème broulee. It was quite good and not too sweet. The portion size was enough for both of us to share. I ordered a glass of Warsteiner beer. Ut was a large glass at 16 ounces and at $8.00 a great value. My wife had a glass of white wine that she enjoyed. There was live music with a women singing familiar tunes. She had a lovely voice.

Outstanding meal — two classic French entrees: coq au cub and coquille st jaque. Service quite attentive. Very quiet. Note: we were there between 4:30 and 6:00 Saturday on a holiday weekend

Petite Violette never disappoints. The only problem is deciding what to order since everything is absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend Friday nights for the music as well, although any night of the week is great. We've been going for years and have never had a bad experience.
