Spending time researching in France for inspiration, Virant has crafted every dish with meticulous attention to detail and a reverence for tradition.

Seating 65 guests, Petite Vie’s intimate space exudes the warmth and comfort of a traditional French brasserie, while seamlessly blending modern design elements. A collaboration between Virant, his wife Jennifer and long-time friend and designer Jody Tate, every detail at Petite Vie tells a story of meticulous craftsmanship and thoughtful curation.

Featuring French intricacy and layering, the space is a canvas of artistic expression, with artwork curated from both local talents and treasures acquired during the team's time in Paris. Framed prints, commissioned paintings, and a round antique mirror passed down through generations, adorn the walls, adding layers of intrigue.

Annual anniversary dinner was delicious. The space is a little loud and they pack the tables in. We will definitely be back for the food and service!!

We sat in the back room which was a bit quieter than the front room and bar. We enjoyed the autumn version of the gnocchi appetizer with fresh chantrelle mushrooms and bacon - delicious! The entrees used fresh herbs and vegetables and were all excellent. The sauces were light and we felt full but not stuffed. The entree portions were substantial and reasonably priced. It was hard to choose a dessert - they all looked good. The souffle with creme anglaise was the best we have ever had! Outstanding meal and service. We will be back.

I thought a lot of our food was under seasons. The duck was super bland, but my wife has the steak and that was very good. The soufflé was good as well but the apps were also bland and not that memorable.

It's difficult to find a table at night, but the Saturday lunch was perfect. Very few patrons and an accommodating staff. We each ordered a spinach quiche and agreed that it was the absolute best quiche we've ever had. Very fresh spinach and an amazingly light crust. (How do they do that?) But it's not available for the Sunday brunch nor for the dinner menu. Our server Monsieur Thierry was just delightful. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Went for brunch and pretty good. The standout was definitely the French Toast. No kids menu so my son ordered a few sides and shared work us. Would like to come back to try dinner.

Three of us shared the heirloom tomato salad to start and it was delicious. Our server, Laura, was very attentive and knowledgeable. Pork chasseur was delicious, as were the steak frites enjoyed at our table. The owner stopped by to check that all was well. Bravo! Can’t wait to dine there again.
