Petit Trois Le Valley, the second outpost of Chef Ludo Lefebvre's beloved bistro, opened its doors in 2018 in Sherman Oaks. This larger location channels a lavish French Brasserie, with its marble bar, banquette lined dining room, and a Chef’s counter overlooking the open kitchen. The second dining room can be reserved for larger parties and private events.

Since opening, Petit Trois has garnered praise from casual foodies and revered food critics. In 2015, Petit Trois was nominated for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation and in 2019 earned the Bib Gourmand designation upon the Michelin Guide’s return to Los Angeles. Additionally, Petit Trois was featured on the late Jonathan Gold’s 101 Best Restaurants in Los Angeles list from 2015-2017 and has remained on the list since 2019 when Bill Addison & Patricia Escárcega took over.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Alors que le Petit Trois originel est, comme son nom l'indique, de petite taille, la deuxième mouture du restaurant de Ludo Lefebvre, située à Sherman Oaks, est beaucoup plus grande et possède de hauts plafonds, d'un décor aux tons dorés et de confortables banquettes vert menthe. We had a perfect lunch at Petit Trois in Sherman Oaks. The prix fix lunch is a great deal for such intricate and thought out dishes. We shall return.

As always a wonderful lunch with the best staff and best chefs serving the best ingredients. Went with the classic jamon beurre sandwich because frankly its the perfect lunch accompanied by the insanely good french fries. But really its all about the butter in the sandwich, hence the name!

Honestly one of the most frustrating dinner experiences I’ve had in a while I almost never leave bad reviews but I feel like this time it’s merrited. I went to eat here for my bday with my family and everything was great the first part of our dinner. Appetizers were coming in wine came out everything was great we had ordered 3 steak and frites and one filet aux poivres and they took about a hour and 10 minutes to come out. Mean while there another table next us that came in earlier with the same amount of people and there food came like 35 minutes earlier. I thought that was weird. So we’re waiting and waiting and the food finally comes out and it’s cold. I look over to the table and they had ordered fries and idk but the size of the fries were different. I had a feeling the they probally ran out of fries and went to go go buy some shoestring fries or something because the size was not the same . But whatever I’m probally wrong. Just the overall meal was very frustrating and negative It’s just frustrating spending like 500$ for a meal like that. I have dined at the location on Melrose about 2 years ago on my bday and it was great! Everything was cooked perfectly came out on time and service was superb. That’s why I decided to return for my bday. I hope my experience was just a fluke and that they were just having an off day because that was upsetting.

Always lovely, food delectable, PetitTrois is to be enjoyed. The noise level is a problem for us. Wish there was a quiet area. Still, we come.

Always a consistently excellent experience across the board. Food and service is excellent. Really love the cocktail menu and how they never fail to create something unique and delicious. The Big Mec is a must get only second to the filet. Service is consistent and some of the best I’ve ever found.

Birthday lunch with a girlfriend! We sat at the bar, too hot outside today, and had a lovely meal. I had never been for lunch before, will definitely put it in the rotation. Lots to choose from on the menu and lively atmosphere !

Petit Trois is a good looking brasserie with a very lively atmosphere. As a foodie and lover of good French cuisine I wanted to try it out. Went straight for the classic French Onion soup.. disappointingly thin and lacking the true french flavour this simple delicious soup embodies. It’s simple enough to make, so a chef with experience can knock this out with his eyes closed. Boston salad was salty - my daughter commented that the dressing would have been enough. Service was decent and staff friendly. Tried the crème brûlée, another class and another total fail. It was served in a ramekin and cold inside and had no crack. When I commented on it the waitress immediately knew and took it back, she was great but the kitchen made up some half baked - excuse the pun - that might have worked on someone less experienced, but showed me the kitchen does not have the skill to serve authentic French cuisine. Beat thing about lunch was the Chablis, but you can never go wrong with that.
