Part neighborhood café, part energetic bistro, Petite Cerise is located in a bright and lively historic corner space in Shaw/Mount Vernon Triangle. Petite Cerise features separate à la carte menus for brunch, lunch, and dinner. In addition, Petite Cerise has a Coffee Counter open Tuesday - Friday opening at 8am serving classic coffee and espresso preparations, housemade pastries, and other breakfast items to go or sit down.

Dinner offers both an à la carte menu along with a Prix Fixe option. The focus in the evening is to craft unique and innovative dishes utilizing the very best ingredients within the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond skillfully prepared through a French lens.

Service was lackluster. Kept sitting us at the worst possible tables, however the food is worth going for.

We've eaten through most of their menu and at all of their services and we love this place. Service is excellent. The vibe is fire. And the food is, well, amazing. You can't go wrong whether you are going for coffee and a croissant or for brunch, lunch, or for their fixed price dinner. If you can, go for dinner. The food is fresh, innovative, flavorful, beautiful, and, once again, the service is amazing. Michelin star quality at a very reasonable price. We wish we lived in DC to have this become our go-to, local favorite because it's definitely our DC favorite.

A really lovely place. I've been there for brunch and dinner and both were great. The food is very satisfying and the service is relaxed but on point. The place has a more honest, low-key vibe of little neighborhood places in French cities/towns than many of the French restaurants in DC.

One of the best overall meals we’ve had in Washington in some time. Excellent food, excellent cocktails, and very good wine, all for a reasonable price. We’ll definitely be going back.

Great meal but if you come for late brunch be prepared for them to be sold out of baguettes and pastries which limits the menu quite a bit. That was our only disappointment

10/10 experience. Food was great (especially the pastries!), service was divine, and I wish I had it in me to try more cocktails! We will be back.
