Set inside the iconic Free Trade Hall, award-winning Peter Street Kitchen captures an atmosphere that breathes modernity and naturalism through its high ceilings with pendant lighting, wooden features, Stella Works marble tables and stacked sake barrels in the bar.
Experience a curated Omakase, where the essence of Peter Street Kitchen’s cuisine is presented in a six-course tasting menu created on the day by our talented chefs. For an intimate dinner, you can also book a Hibachi Experience, where a 6-seater table and fire pit provide memorable ambience for a semi-private event.
In 2019, Peter Street Kitchen was awarded the prestigious ‘Best Luxury Restaurant in the UK’ at the British Restaurant Awards.

Food top notch as usual, came out promptly and got orders spot on. Ambiance was good although may be too loud for some people. Service could have been slightly more attentive but wait staff were very friendly and polite.

The whole experience was great no doubt. For the Omakse menu just one comment slightly too much acidity/citrus in sauces. This is a very small point from an experienced high end restauranteur but both my son and i felt too much acidity but fantastic restaurant and evening Thank You!!!

Food was lovely. All of it was really fresh and tasted great. The service was fantastic, our server was very attentive and offered suggestions when asked. Would definitely recommend

Have been before and loved it. Decided to try the omokase premium ‘experience’ as thought we would get a great mix - unfortunately it was a total let down - great 1st course, but the rest had no variety and so much vinegar / acid that they almost became unpleasant. Brilliant staff though. Would still recommend the Peter street kitchen, but order off the menu rather than one of the taster menus - not great and not worth it

Cool ambience. DJ started about quarter past six or thereabouts, before that there was some chilled music playing through the PA system. Music suited to the environment. We were well looked after by our waitress, very attentive topping our water up without us having to ask. Food is amazing. We enjoyed the set menu which is excellent value and a great way of affording meal choices that would ordinarily set you back twice as much. Please be aware the last sitting for the set menu is half 5, which is perfect for pre theatre or pre drinks. Set menu is 2 courses for £23 or 3 courses for £28. Check the cost of the dishes on the regular menu and you will see how much you save for the same dishes on the set menu. To start, I had matchstick chicken (basically crispy chicken wings and plenty of them), my wife had the crispy duck salad, both delicious. For mains, my wife had the seabass and I had the pork ribs (again plenty in the portion). We were both so full we didn't do a 3rd course, but if we'd had room we'd have gone for the white chocolate cheesecake with mango sorbet. Sounded delicious. Give the venue a try, I highly recommend it.

Beautiful decoration, friendly & kind staff, very tasty food. Small plate dining with minute portions ends up being pretty expensive. Tables are too small for 4 - there was no space for the sharing plates. We were not asked the order in which the food should be served. Meat was served before fish and plates were not changed. DJ blasting music all night might not be for everyone

It was my partners birthday and it was the best experience we have ever had, we are definitely coming back again, The fried rice and steak tacos were amazing and the calamari was the best we have ever had, the staff were so polite and food was out of this world…. 10/10 try again, the bar staff were also super chill and also made our night great
