Beautiful decor for this Edwardian building let's say that. 1. Tempura prawn portion is abysmal you do not even get a full size prawn, not even half of a prawn is in those tiny prawn balls. 2. Matchstick chicken Is basically bones. 3. Where i was seated, I was too tall for that space. Requested to be moved at first they couldn't move me as they were full but as a space became available they did so. 4. It's my third time here and as per usual the music is way to loud n ruined my evening. I don't want to be shouting over the table to be heard. Pls turn it down. The music they play doesn't match the atmosphere of the venue at all, techno music is a fancy restaurant is a NO. Overall food had nice taste. Moderate pricing, portion size is fair

Amazing food amazing service. Slightly expensive but the food was outstanding so kind of worth it.

The day was very nice - the food was excellent- however - Starter -mean portion of scallops- tasted superb by underwhelming in the number issued Mains - all good no complaints fish main again was lacking in a decent portion.- The portions against price paid made me feel indifferent Everything else all good

Christmas Dinner. Amazing from start to finish. Staff were polite and very professional. Food was glorious and the wine was Devine. The venue is lovely and not over croweded. The whole experience was great.

Booked 6 for the Japanese Whiskey Masterclass and it was excellent! Host was superb and his knowledge was second to none, very professional. Will recommend

Normally a restaurant I enjoy however service for food was really slow considering the restaurant was not super busy. The food was ok however no organisation with how the food served. Cabbage was served without any meat to enjoy it with and as a whole it took so long for the food to come.

I have an allergy to crabs and prawns and when I disclosed this, the manager approached me. I was told that there was no way they could guarantee no cross contamination- even when I ordered a duck salad starter and a steak main. He said that he wanted to refuse service for me and that they had absolutely no responsibility for the risk to me. He continued to say that they would have no involvement if I started to have a reaction. I was so embarrassed and it has almost made me want to hide my allergy in future. If a supposed high end restaurant can’t offer assurance for allergies then it’s extremely disappointing as even my local takeaway, try to help me as best they can and ensure a different pan is used. I was made to feel like a problem they didn’t want. To top all this off, we waited several times for our drinks, received the wrong order for our food and drink twice. The bouncer then tried to stop me going back into the restaurant after going to the toilet at the end of the meal, saying it was closed. Honestly a really disappointing and expensive experience…
