Opened in 1887, Peter Luger Steak House has become a culinary, historical and cultural landmark in the heart of Williamsburg. Serving only the finest USDA Prime Beef, Peter Luger has been honored with numerous awards for over 30 years including America’s Best Steak. The restaurant is family owned and operated, and all beef is hand-selected by a member of the family before being dry-aged on site.

From checking in to leaving was good time. We went on a Sunday evening fairly busy. It is a bit high in price for my opinion. Food was good though. Didn’t understand why we had two waiters, the first gentleman spilled some of the water while trying to pour it in a glass. The second waitress was a female, who seemed to be the main one, she was very nice and checked on us often. We got the Steak for two (medium cook), German fried potatoes, and broiled asparagus, with a bottle of water. Overall it was a nice anniversary dinner for my wife and I. Also loved the chocolate coin at the end.

Eddie our server was attentive and friendly. The food was cooked to perfection. Our requests were met with ease and enthusiasm. We cannot wait to go back.

This is no NYC! Slow service, bread came during main course and after appetizers…and lugar sauce came after apps were done.

The service was atrocious,entrees not delivered to table together, bread never came out and we had to ask for it, actual server was terrible. We would never go back here. Extremely disappointing, especially compared to the Brooklyn location.
