Opened in 1887, Peter Luger Steak House has become a culinary, historical and cultural landmark in the heart of Williamsburg. Serving only the finest USDA Prime Beef, Peter Luger has been honored with numerous awards for over 30 years including America’s Best Steak. The restaurant is family owned and operated, and all beef is hand-selected by a member of the family before being dry-aged on site.

The restaurant is expensive. That said, the quality of the beef is excellent and the portions are generous. We dined on a Sunday afternoon to take advantage of the lunch special: salad, entree, and dessert $49. Warm rolls were delivered to the table but since they turned rock hard within 10 minutes we realized that they had been microwaved. Service was friendly but slow. It seemed as though the restaurant was understaffed. Be ready to enjoy a delicious, leisurely meal.

Overall highly recommend and would come again. Only drawback is for some reason they got our drink, our appetizer wrong and never gave us fries - though waiter entered everything correctly.

One of the best restaurant experiences we have ever gone to. The pre fix lunch menu is an amazing value. The food and service in this place is 5 star. We live in vegas so have eaten everywhere. Outstanding.

I done ballot of high in restaurants in Las Vegas with clients and I’m sorry to say I won’t recommend or return to this restaurant again. The steak was just ok, and the sides were the same, the mushrooms looked like a 6 year old cooked them. I’m not one to complain but when I spend of $700.00 dollars I expect it to be at least 4 star and I can’t say it was even close. Like I said I have dined at numerous steak houses in the strip and this was is not forgettable in a bad way. My wife’s water class was empty more than 50% of the time. Like I said I’m not easy to please, with that being said I travel all over the world and when I spend money I expect the service to be excellent and the food to be excellent. Don’t recommend this restaurant at all.

Food was amazing Seating was awful. You either sat in a hard uncomfortable chair or a bench where you sank so low you could hardly see over the table

The food, of course, was wonderful The entrees and sides were great Service was excellent There was a loud baby, in essence people with a young child need to understand being at such a great restaurant requires a level of responsibility You don’t just take small children who impact other patrons without regard to others

Great Porterhouse Steak !! Wedge salad and crab meat cocktail superb!! My only criticism is that the wine list should have a few more reasonably priced wines.
