Opened in 1887, Peter Luger Steak House has become a culinary, historical and cultural landmark in the heart of Williamsburg. Serving only the finest USDA Prime Beef, Peter Luger has been honored with numerous awards for over 30 years including America’s Best Steak. The restaurant is family owned and operated, and all beef is hand-selected by a member of the family before being dry-aged on site.

The Dodgers beat the Yankees in the Series, so to celebrate... Peter Luger - Vegas style at Caesar's Palace! For anyone who's ever been to the Brooklyn original, you may be skeptical. How does this location measure up? To the Tee! The food? Spectacular! The service? Impeccable! The classic steakhouse vibes? It's Vegas, Baby! Our meal was Five Star from start to finish. José was an amazing server - friendly and super attentive. Our cocktails - old fashioned and black cherry margarita- were works of art. They belong on a wall not in a glass. The shrimp cocktail was glorious... shrimp that sweet and cooked perfectly. The cocktail sauce is delicious. Should be a cocktail in its own right.. just add a shot of tequila and serve it up. The aged porterhouse was perfectly medium rare and absolutely tender, beefy, delicious and decadent. These folks know how to age and cook a steak. This is a death row meal right here. For dessert, because you need some "schlag" in your life, the NY cheesecake with a side of that airy, sweet whipped cream. I'm ready to loosen that belt now. The system is working! Just like the original, minus the 6 hour flight. They even have a location in Japan! That might be a flight worth taking.

Steak was perfect. We had a party of four but ordered steak for 3 and finished everything. They need a better potato option with garlic mashed or redskin. Spinach and mushroom sides were fantastic. For starter appetizers the oysters , bacon, and Caesar salad were fantastic as well.

The steak was very good, the servers were good, but it wasn't spectacular. Our strak came out at least 15 min before any of the sides. The sides were fine, but not great. Its a typical in casino giant restaurant, so it what it lacks in ambiance it makes up for in crowd noise and seating capacity.

Food was very good. Service failed. Sat down and it took 40 minutes for our drinks to arrive and our orders taken. They were very apologetic and said for some reason our drink order was never entered, but even so, once we finished eating it took over 30 minutes for someone to come clean the table and bring us a check. Really need to do some training with your wait staff.

The best steakhouse hands down. All of their steaks are Prime and come with sizzling butter. The steak sauce is also excellent and very unique. The whipped cream, which they call schlog is freshly made from real cream. We are very impressed with the customer service. We had a server that was excellent and he had a team that was very attentive. They all checked on us to see if we were happy with our meal.
