We had a great experience here. Our server Jackie was absolutely phenomenal. She recommended we try the famous pork chop bites as an appetizer. It’s smoked for 6 hours and is served with apple sauce and bbq sauce. It was very good and I don’t normally like pork. Our table tried three different cuts of meat: cowboy ribeye, filet and New York strip. All three were cooked to perfection. Jackie also recommended the bread pudding. It has 7 cups of chocolate chips in it. Perfect way to end the night. Jackie really helped bring the menu to life and played a big part in delivering a quality experience. Overall, I highly recommend. Especially if you get lucky enough to have Jackie as your server.

Beautiful place. Service very slow. 6:30 reservation for 4 on Sunday night and asking us if we want dessert at 9:15 which is too late for me! I liked that they asked us about our steaks by cutting into them to verify their level of preparedness. I didn’t think the quality of the meat was that amazing for the price however. My husband and I both got crab on top of our filets and the amount of crab was minuscule.

We were celebrating a big birthday with a group of 7 and an early reservation of 5pm. Had requested a nice table but they quickly set one for us right near the kitchen entrance— where there was a lot of staff traffic. So not thrilled with the fact that they didn’t seem ready for us. Food was amazing tho! Service by waiter was fantastic, however the bussing in between courses was a bit slow. Would definitely go back for a special night out or for a serious red meat crave but would like to see impeccable service through and through for the money. Tighter bussing and a better table would have knocked it out of the park.

This is our second time dining here.. the food and service are fantastic, drinks are good but a bit overpriced. The tables are very close together and the noise level made it difficult to converse at our table.. our server was very knowledgeable and made some great suggestions for appetizers and entrees!

We went to Perry’s in Vernon Hills at a friend’s recommendation. We had a table with 6 (3 couples) out for a special night among friends. The restaurant was way overcrowded and tables were cramped as several at our table were back to back against others seated at separate tables. It was not comfortable at all for what is supposed to be a prime dining establishment. People were crammed in like sardines from table to table. And the service was lacking too. They tried to pass off a 6 oz filet that looked like 4 ounces to me when I ordered an 8 oz filet. My husband ordered a 10oz filet medium rare and it showed up medium well. Meanwhile our sides showed up first and were cold by the time we got our steaks cooked as ordered. Our other guests had wanted wagyu filet mignon and were told they were out so ended up with ribeyes which they both said were just OK at $99 each a la carte. It also took several at our table over 20 minutes and several prompts to the waiter to get our cocktails. They tried to make things better by offering free dessert for our table but even that was just so-so. I ordered a creme brûlée and it was liquid warm sauce with sugar on top. The others said their desserts were good but not great. Truthfully, it is just another high priced corporate regime where you are packed in like rats and given so so steaks for way too high a price. For 6 people with a cocktail each and comped dessert our bill was nearly $900 before gratuity to give some perspective. For this cost I want to see better quality food and service. Not going back. So many better steakhouses to experience.

The service at Perry’s was impeccable but we found the food very salty and the pork chop was on the dry side.

This is our second year in a row celebrating our twins birthday at Perry's. Last year was in Schaumburg as VH was not built yet. The interior and look of the restaurant is a exact duplicate of the Schaumburg location. If you want a intimate quiet dinner this is not the place. It's loud and sometime hard to hear people at your table if it's larger. Our twins were greeted with birthday cards and we were promptly greeted by our server. Drink orders were placed and arrived quickly. Everyone really enjoyed there drinks. We started with crab cakes, scallops, lobster bisque, pork chop bites and a caesar salad. All the starters were really good. I personally love the bisque and it had a few nice pieces of lobters. The pork chop bites are very little pieces on a toothpick. Dinner was all steak. I had the wagyu filet which was incredible. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Two people had steak perry with the crabmeat. The steaks arrived undercooked but were quickly fixed. One of the twins had steak/lobster tail and really enjoyed it. Very happy with the steaks. For sides, we had the spaghetti squash, au gratin potates and the load whipped potatoes. Honestly, the sides were a bit disappointing. The potato dishes where a bit dry. For dessert, we had the bread pudding with a homemade marshmallow. If I could get a pan of the marshmallows I'd be in heaven. Overall, really happy with dinner but it's pricey. If you are spending that much money if you aren't happy with something ask them to fix it. Thanks

We had a fantastic dinner there for our anniversary. The staff could not have been nicer and the food was really good. We will definitely make Perry’s a regular spot for a special night out.

Wonderful addition to the Vernon Hills dining scene! Everything was great but they were out of the seasonal appetizer *and* the bottle of wine that we wanted. Other than those stock outs, we had a great time.

Our waitress was wonderful. The food drool worthy. It is a bit pricey but worth every penny. A lovely added touch, a birthday card signed by the manager, our waitress and the chef along with a dessert with a candle, a surprise! A truly excellent experience!
