                      Our server Jamie was great, very helpful and friendly. Thanks to manager Ella. Food was tasty, came out very quickly, cocktails were nice too. Would come again. Great decor.

                      We had the Crying Beef and Black Lobster & Crab Ravioloni, followed by Back to Front Vanilla Cheesecake. All delicious, good portions and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

                      Perch on the pier has a great outlook out to sea. There’s a friendly welcome on arrival and you’re not rushed Tom noise from the menu. The food was delicious and hot on arrival to table. The staff were extremely helpful when I had difficult with a voucher I had. All sorted in no time at all.

                      The service was slow. No slice of orange in the gin and tonic. Food best described as average. The rosti had a rather strange and slightly unpleasant flavour. The experience was saved by the amazing views.

                      We had the sharing roast. It is served on a cold piece of wood so virtually everything was luke warm and we had to try to heat up by using a lot of gravy! The meat / chicken was good but it is just a little pricey - guess paying for the fantastic location and decent surroundings The staff were excellent

                      It’s a nice restaurant. It fell a bit short this time, The veg and cauliflower cheese has been forgotten to be warmed up so that was a shame, they did substitute. The gravy was not very nice, it was glupey, tasted like instant gravy. The meat was quite nice but it wasn’t piping hot and the steak was overdone. Last time I had the sharing roast it was superb. Huge shame when it’s below par as it just seems like a waste of money and an unfortunate choice for a celebration. It was very quiet in the restaurant, so maybe seasonal factors are at play here. Not a reflection on the waiting staff who were pleasant enough, on the whole however it was a disappointment. I have recommended Perch to others but after this trip I’d be less inclined to do so.
