   Peppervine may be Charlotte's best fine-dining restaurant. They just do things well. And Tuesdays' half-price wine nights are great opportunities to try higher-priced wines than you might otherwise be willing to spring for. We were surprised to learn that founder & Chef Bill Greene and his wife Anita are no longer with the restaurant. That may or may not be why service seemed just a smidgen off its usual polished level. It's still a great restaurant; I hope it remains that way without their leadership.

To clarify, Bill and Anita sold their share of the restaurant two years ago, but they remain great friends with us and continue to be a big part of our community.    Great place, nice vibe, portions on the smallish side but overall very happy. Great wine menu too!

   Peppervine is always solid. They continue to provide a great dinner experience every time we go. Tommy is just fantastic and is one of the best somm's we've had. Great wine recommendations.

   Everything from start to f finish was perfect. Our server, Erlan C, was so kind, professional, personable and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was quiet so that my husband and I could actually carry on a conversation. The food was outstanding. We hope to return very soon. Erlan, thank you for making my husband's birthday so special.

   Been here for dinner once before. Decided to go back again. There were 5 of us. Food was delicious, oysters were wonderful, branzino very tasty and dessert was enjoyed especially the presentation. ( although they were out of panna cotta when ordered.) we sat in a large booth which was a little awkward for our server but we managed.

   Very good, consistently well prepared dishes. Relatively small fish portions and generally very high prices. A $30 per bottle cork fee is higher most.

   Pepper Vine was Fantastic! From excellent service to exceptional tasting food. The yeast rolls are the best rolls ever! We had the oysters, gem salad, mushroom pasta, and shrimp pasta! Would go back if I lived here or visit again. Even the dirty martini blue cheese olives were some of the best I have tasted. They certainly are doing everything right in this restaurant.
