Peppercorn’s Grill and Piccolo Arancio are owned and operated by the Cialfi siblings, Sal and Dino, Brothers Sal and Dino purchased Peppercorn's Grill in 1989 and opened Piccolo Arancio in 1994. This generation of Cialfi's has added modern creativity and personality to traditional strengths of their Italian roots. Sal and Dino were trained in the art of Italian food at their uncle's restaurant in Rome. When the opportunity to open a restaurant arose, they jumped at the opportunity and opened the first Piccolo Arancio in Rome. Piccolo Arancio was internationally acclaimed within their first year. Now operated by their cousins, Piccolo Arancio remains near the Trevi Fountain in Rome. Peppercorn's Grill and Piccolo Arancio received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for 10 years

I was there with a party of 6 and the food was spectacular. The service as well. Everyone loved it. I suggest that you try Peppercorns if you’re in the Hartford area.

Very nice restaurant with friendly staff. Steaks were perfectly cooked (so tender and flavorful); Beef short rib awesome; Calamari app-we don't recommend and won't get that again. Perfect dining in walking distance from The Bushnell - we'll definitely dine there again.

I often debate between the beef carpaccio or the black mission figs as a stater and of late I’ve been finishing with the salmon dish. While the menu has not changed much over the years the quality has been consistent since the first meal I had seven years ago.

Perfect in every way - food excellent and wait staff even better. After writing this I discovered that the owners and staff went out of their way to accommodate our late reservation in celebration of a family birthday. This made our entire experience even better. We had a great dinner and were treated especially well given that we arrived late. A restaurant truly committed to its patrons.
