    Always a pleasure going into Pepp & Dolores. We had a wonderful server and I hate that I forgot her name. But she was amazing, welcoming, and knew how to keep a smile on our faces.

    We don't live in Cincy but visit often & this place is always on the top of the list - you can't go wrong with any of the menu items, everything is fresh made & delicious & we love tapas style ordering of a bunch small plates to share around the table. Ambiance is always lovely & fun & the staff is great.

    We had always heard about this restaurant and we decided to book it for our anniversary dinner. We made a reservation months in advance and were promptly seated albeit right next to the door leading to the outside dinning area. Obviously, seated where we were meant a constant coming and going by staff from inside to outside which was less than desirable. We started with the Dunk, the bread was hard, I’ve had much better at many other places. Dinner followed and my wife’s Broccoli was not hot at all, probably sat waiting on our entrees to be ready which took about 45 minutes to be served. They replaced the broccoli and initially charged it twice on our bill, but got that resolved. Overall, our experience left us underwhelmed. Extremely limited menu in my opinion. We’ve had much better dinners at Carrabas over the years. We won’t put this place on a have to go back soon list for certain.

    Food was AMAZING, thankfully it made up for the poor service. Will be headed back, but will be asking for a different server.

    Our evening at Pepp and Dolores was a very unpleasant one. My wife and I took our best friend and his wife out for dinner to celebrate his birthday. The first unpleasant experience came when our server knocked over our bottle of wine which spilled over the dress and pants of my best friend’s wife!!! She was very nice about that and we even tried to console our server that things happened and told the manager not to take any action on the server who spilled our bottle of wine onto her. The manager did offer paying for the dry cleaning bill which is the least that Pepp and Dolores should do. We were then offered some limoncello by the server who said that it’s “on the house” to celebrate my friend’s birthday just to find out later that he actually charged us for that!!! So, besides paying for the spilled wine, we were charged for the limoncello, and we paid 20% tips based on the full bill as we normally trust the bill to be correct. I brought that up to the server who eventually corrected that and told us we will get our refund in the future for the complimentary limoncello but we still paid for the spilled wine. After walking my friends to their car, feeling horrible about her partially soaked pants, we decided to call the manager to share our experiences. Guest what? They put me on hold for several minutes and finally the call was cut off! I called again and this time the phone rang for 9 minutes without anyone picking up the phone. So I decided to walk back to the restaurant to share our rather unpleasant experiences with the manager face to face who met us outside of the restaurant. The restaurant wasn’t busy by this time. The manager said that he had been in the business for 20 years (he said that after wine was spilled initially), etc., etc. and that the phone reception was bad in the back of his office. We told him about our unpleasant experiences and all we are asking for is that Pepp and Dolores to fix this so no future customers are experiencing the same. 😠

    I went out with my girls before a show at the theater, and it was perfect! We each got a different pasta and got to try each others and every single one was delicious! Mark gave us exceptional service and so did the host! My friend left her bag and the amazing host Dylan gave us outstanding service by delivering it to us down the street! What an exceptional eye! Definitely a gem of a place with gems of people and we will all be coming back soon!

    We were new to P&D. Food was excellent as was the service. They put us in a quiet, back area as requested. Will certainly return. Plus convienient with parking lots just across the street (mind you, our reservation was at 4pm during the week).
