Pendolino is the new restaurant from chef-owner Kevin Maxey, debuting spring of 2024 in Atlanta. Taking up an Italian disposition – one where eating and culture are inseparable – we are proud to offer Chastain Park a classy-casual neighborhood place.
Come join us in our dining room or our sun-filled patio for an unbeatable setting. One side of the restaurant boasts a curved oak wood bar with casual café style seating, and views of the wood burning oven. The main dining room has a lux mix of comfy banquettes, graciously sized booths, and marble topped tables and there is a private dining room that can be enclosed for festive celebrations. Whether you are out for a date night or late night, feasting with friends or family, popping by for an afternoon snack or lingering for a special occasion, we can’t wait to host you.

Great food! Felt slightly rushed, especially for what we payed. Overall really good experience though.

A pre-Valentine's night dinner was lovely. We decided to do small plates and the food was tasty. The mushroom pizza was amazing. The service was responsive and helpful. A very nice evening.

This was our first time visiting Pendolino. It was fine, but nothing really excited me. My wife did seem to enjoy the ravioli. We will be back. I would like to try some different things next time to see if it makes a difference in how I feel.

We always love our experience at Pendolino. Excellent food and service. I especially enjoyed the burger and cocktails. Others thought the halibut and spaghetti were outstanding.

Enjoyable evening but restaurant could do a couple of things differently. Better restaurants have some type of bread served with your drinks. Salmon was good but maybe a little over grilled. Ceasar Salad was heaping on bowl but included a lot of yellow lettuce that should not have been served. Shrimp pasta was very large with large (too large) pasta and few shrimp. Also, the sauce was scarce and not as tasty like most Italian restaurants. Halibut was very good. Michael did a great job as our server.

The restaurant interior was very pretty and my initial impression was great. The noise level is extremely high so it was a bit hard to hear our server. Service started out well but got progressively slower throughout the evening. Our server seemed busy and often had trouble getting to our table. It took 10 to 15 minutes to receive drinks after they were ordered and putting our actual food order in also took much longer than we would have liked. Once we got food it was excellent.

Pretty restaurant… a very solid 3 for us. Food was decent, not outstanding… especially for the price. Not necessarily opposed to returning, but not going out of the way.
