The server was excellent, knew the menu inside and out. However there are some space issues. The cart with the giant cheese was rammed into my friend’s chair three separate times. The food was very good for what it was but there are virtually no vegetables. If you love pasta and rich sauces (not tomato) and don’t want a cocktail or beer just Italian wine, and don’t want a vegetable, the place is perfect.

Absolutely love Pelino’s Pasta!!! This was my 3rd time coming for dinner. Each time I’ve done the 4-course meal and am never disappointed. The service is amazing - they do a great job walking you through the menu and suggesting wine. The menu changes every month so you can go often and not eat the same thing each time!

After previous wonderful meals there, this time disappointed. Of the seven items we had, four were not up to the standards we had experienced in the past. Neither was the service. A favorite cacio e pepe was dry, but they immediately replaced it. The polenta with lobster was good but small with a $5 charge. The ricotta gnocchi was heavy on the garlic. The paccheri pasta dish had a tablespoon of actual meat in it. When ordering, the server offered to substitute another dish for the dessert but neglected to mention there would be a $5 charge. The serving sizes except the desert were even smaller than in the past. The wine list offered only 4 wines under $80.

Greatly enjoyed the fresh pasta dishes. All our dishes were delicious and delectable. Everything is made fresh in-house!

Overall great experience. Most of the food was great, but there were a couple of misses in the pear antipasti and the mafaldine. The duck was not very soft for that one. The rest of the dishes were excellent, particularly the Cacio e Pepe and the gnocchi. The tiramisu was absolutely heavenly and to die for. I’d go back just for that.

The NYE 5-course dinner was an incredible experience! The food was out of this world, especially the risotto and raviolo. Each wine pairing was wonderful, too! The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the dinner, and the service was incredible.

Pelino’s is one of our favorite restaurants in Columbus. The menu changes monthly so there’s always something new to try. Food tastes like authentic Italian food and the owners are such lovely people. Recommend to all our friends

Very disappointing time - went for my 68th birthday - looked forward to it for a month - when ordering I wanted to do the 7 course wine included and my wife asked for the 4 course menu - we have been twice before and ordered the same way no problem but on this night we were told you can’t do that everyone at the table has to do the 7 course or no one can - our server tried twice asking the manager if we could do that (the second asking was after we told him we were leaving if we couldn’t order as we wanted to-) both times we were denied . Nowhere on their menu or online is it stated that the whole table must get the same fixed menu. Loved it the first two times but if this policy continues I will not be back nor recommend them in the future.
