Our Pelee Island Pavilion is the hub of activity on the island during the spring, summer and fall. Tour the Pavilion grounds and learn the history of Pelee Island and Pelee Island Winery. The wine appreciation seminar is known as the ‘Vine to Wine’ process. You’ll get an inside look at the process of growing grapes and making wine, including the evolution of winemaking equipment throughout history (such as our antique European grape press). Finally, the tasting room provides guests with the opportunity to appreciate some of our best vintages. Your tour includes wine tasting and complimentary Pelee Island Winery tasting glass.

For those looking to enjoy a little bit of ‘Island Time’, relax in our outdoor wine garden with a glass of wine surrounded by vineyards overlooking Lake Erie. Light snacks, wood fired pizza and charcuterie available at our Deli Hut pair nicely with your wine of choice while you enjoy live entertainment every Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Visually appealing, but staffing needs improvement. Staff are overwhelmed and interactions are chaotic. We waited 20-30 minutes before ordering drinks AND food at the bar. Ethan, the bartender, provided excellent service. After 50 minutes to and hour, our food finally arrived, reflecting operational issues rather than staff shortcomings.

DO NOT use open table to book a tour. It gives incorrect times. We arrived for our "reaerved"tour time at 1pm only to be told they don't have a tour until 2pm. The problem is with open table bookings allowing of schedule times. They only do tours at certain times and only if there are 6 people. So we had a glass of wine on the patio while we waited. Would have ordered food but the waiter didn't come round. Only 1 guy on. So after waiting there were only 4 people at 2 for a tour and they wouldn't do it. I get that. Would have done the wine tasting but found out they can't sell bottles unless they crack it open first. They don't have a retail license! NEVER been to a winery where I couldn't buy bottles. So it's illegal to drive with open liquor in the car and we wanted to take some home. Apparently we could buy bottles at the Kingsville location but we weren't going there. The other option is to order online and it it will be delivered to your house in 4 or 5 days free of charge. We've been to many wineries and the best part of the winery experience is tasting their wine and buying bottles to take home. It's too bad. So we settled on going to the lcbo. The staff were really friendly and I bet they lose a lot in tip money. Hopefully they get their license to sell back soon!

We attended and waited 20 mins to then learn the last tour was at 4 even though we had appointments reso for 5. Service didnt care said come another day. We were only on the island for the day. Travelled in specially to see the winery. Very disappointed

A bottle of their own wine was 40 when you can buy it at their store for 20. Menu was very limited. Service was slow and the place was empty.

We did not eat there so I cannot comment on the food. We did do a tour with Evan, which was great. A few of our group also did some additional tasting flights at the bar which they really enjoyed. The service was great. The bartender was friendly and fun. The biggest disappointment was being unable to by sealed bottles of wine, especially during the LCBO strike. I was there before and it was possible. We received an unclear response from the bartender about the reasoning behind this "rule". If you wanted to purchase bottles, they were being sold at restaurant prices and the bottles had to be opened before we left so they wouldn't stay fresh.

We had reservation and when we arrived at the winery the employee behind the bar stated that the tour was canceled. We never received an email or text that it was canceled. Very poor communication with this employee who couldn’t explain why we would be not getting a tour. We paid for a tasting which was just that, he poured the samples and gave it to us with no communication on the wines. So very disappointing. I will not be recommending this winery, we had a lot nicer tour at Vin Villa.

We ended up only having a wine tasting because we could not take the tasting outside and we wanted to have lunch with the tasting. The building is beautiful, but it is not set up well and our tasting was not a good experience. The employee was confused as to which order the wines should go in and he did not know anything about the wines except what was on the wine menu. We were disappointed in this experience

When we arrived to the winery, it appeared to be very disorganized. I booked the wine tour/tasting for 4 and received the confirmation that it will take place as scheduled. However, when we arrived to the winery, we were told that the tour will not be happening due to the luck of people signed up for the tour. Apparently only party of 6 are eligible for the tour. We were also told that the wine tasting cannot take place outside because their glasses are disappearing. However, after about 40 minutes waiting and inquiring with multiple people, we were able to sort it out. The tour did took place and we were pleasantly surprised how knowledgeable the tour guy Eathon was. (I hope I spelled his name correctly). He was funny, entertaining, exciting, attentive to our questions, extremely knowledgeable about the topic for being relatively new in the industry of wine making (2 years). We were so impressed with this young man. If you ever interested in the wine tour, please ask for Eathon, he is “the guy”. You will not regret your decision. As for the management, please plan your tours and train your staff. Given that people are taking ferry to get to the island, the time is limited. Hence, losing about 40 min in waiting cause our group to not being able to do other activity that we had planned.

Complete waste of time! Staff didn’t want to take us on the winery tour that we had booked but instead convinced us to do a tasting and cheese board on the patio. Our server didn’t know much about the wines we chose and got my husband’s choices wrong and the cheese board was a piece of cheese with some Breton crackers, a few pieces of stale bread, some slices of cold cuts and some peppers—very poor presentation. To make things worse, they don’t sell any wines there to take home. Anything you buy has to be opened on site.
