   Had a lovely dining experience! Our server, Tinna, was incredibly attentive and super friendly,she truly elevated the whole evening. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The only downside was the music,it was way too loud and made it difficult to have a conversation. Still, thanks to Tinna and the great food, we had a wonderful time overall.

   Loved the experimental element of the food and the ambience. The service was extremely slow. One of our sides wasn’t even served until all of our food was almost done.

   Pros: Great experience overall - food and drinks were amazing and our server was excellent! Cons: It is a bit on the pricey side and parking is a bit difficult if you come later in the evening.

   Eveeeything was good, however, since we said we were there fir the 1st time expecting to get some introduction to the foods Also waiter was not clear when each order would come, We asked for everything and received it well

   Beautiful restaurant experience. Service was excellent - Clara was friendly snd very attentive. She provided plenty of information and suggestions about menu options. The food was a feast for the eyes and the tastebuds - both beautiful and delicious!

   I really wanted to enjoy this place. A break down of what we ordered. They say plates are shareables/ tapa style Crispy broccoli with strawberry and whipped feta Shrimp and salmon toast Mapo tofu hummus Basque cheesecake with truffle ice cream and verjus Drinks were Golden pear (non alcoholic) Violet bloom The food was very well seasoned, all the flavours were balanced in both flavours and textures. Unfortunately the service on a Friday night is what killed what should have been an amazing dinner. How can a restaurant be out of 3 of their 6 cocktails on a Friday night? And when the server recommend a substitute moccktail which was similar to one of the cocktails that they ran out of, she failed to mention that adding a shot of vodka would cost 13$. (The mocktail was 12$, the original cocktail was 14$) So I was basically charged 25$ for a mocktail THEY had recommended I get in substitute which almost double the cost of the original cocktail. We tried to order the pork wontons, after a 20min wait we were informed that the dish wasn't up to the chef's standards and to remake it would be 40min. We said that's fine we will just get dessert, 5 min later server says that the dish was ready and if we still wanted it... With chef pears being there that night dining with friends and allowing such things to happen on a Friday night in his restaurant makes me question their practices on a daily basis.

   We went to dine at Pears for a 7:30 reservation. Server informed us that 3 out of 5 cocktails on their menu was unavailable. We ordered the Lobster Mapo Tofu and was later also informed that that was also unavailable. Extremely disappointed. As we chose not to order more food for the night since we were happy, we noticed that we did not receive any complimentary dessert for my friend’s birthday. This restaurant is overhyped, over priced and a trap.

    Food was so good - char sui bone in beef short rib and foie gras toast was our fave pick during our dinner.
