Pearly Queen is a new oyster, seafood and wine bar in Shoreditch from renowned chef, Tom Brown, of Cornerstone fame. Think top notch oysters and seafood, beautifully plated fish dishes, cocktails curated by Three Sheets, interesting wines from small producers, and great tunes!

Join us for our Oyster Happy Hour, Tuesday to Saturday, 3pm to 6pm. Half a dozen Carlingford oysters with a Champagne mignonette, and a glass of sparkling Crémant de Limoux for £18. All our bar snacks are also available during these times.

I can’t recommend Pearly Queen highly enough. Beautifully designed restaurant with really friendly, helpful staff. We went for the tasting menu and added a few extra bits. It was all delicious and pretty reasonably priced for the quality of the cooking. The hake Kyiv is really special dish but everything was great in its own right. A great night out all round!

We really enjoyed the experience and the food was delicious. We had to check where our wine was and it looks like it didn’t get put through initially. I asked where it was and they brought it straight away. We asked for advice on the menu and the waiter that served us had impeccable knowledge. We ordered some extra dishes alongside chefs choice but there seemed to have been a mix up there too. They did acknowledge this and offered us 2 glasses of plum sake and a side of grilled hispi with mussel butter as an apology. Overall, even though there were an 1 or 2 mistakes, they were amended by the professional and friendly staff. We will be back for the Crab bun!!

Great building, decor, atmosphere and warm welcome from the team The food was as excellent as I expected it to be - the only disappointment for me was the delay between menu's being put down, and someone coming back to take an order (drinks, food, dessert in particular), and from out table we were not able to easily see anyone to reach out to - so had to wait a disproportionate amount of time. Made the service charge feel like too much in all honesty. However - when the team were at the table they were friendly and warm Would recommend and would revisit - but not if I was timebound

I booked for the Happy Hour menu - and ordered glass of Cremant de limousine and half dozen oysters combo, which was great value for £18. Having read wonderful reviews of the Crispy Buffalo Oysters- I had to try them too. They were amazing! So good that I ordered another serving, along with the Focaccia which came with an amazing crab infused dipping oil - which they apparently make in-house. My server, Jacob was a total star - professional, charismatic, knowledgeable and clearly enthusiastic about the menu. A lovely experience and highly recommended.

Its a nice, casual restaurant. The happy hour is great value and fully recommend it, however, overall it feels too expensive. A meal for 2 people at £300 should feel like you've had something special. The main thing for me is the sauces/ flavours are just too overpowering, particularly the John Dory.

The food was truly fantastic. One dish after the other we kept on being blown away by the combination of flavours and textures and all cooked to perfection. Five stars all around apart for 'ambiance' as i prefer my meals quieter but then it was a Friday night in Shoreditch, so i guess some people like that. But still, a magical night for a celebration with my wife. We'll definitely go back soon!
