With an ambience steeped in rustic charm and a menu filled with treasures from the sea, Pearl Dive Oyster Palace focuses on fresh produce and quality ingredients in its welcoming eatery. Specializing in a wide variety of oysters, from such places as Virginia, Japan, Rhode Island, British Columbia and Washington state, Peal Dive Oyster Palace takes oyster preparation seriously, complementing the delicate taste of the oyster. Appetizer options include crispy crawfish fritters, barbecue shrimp and wood-grilled oysters. Besides oysters, house specialties have a decidedly Cajun flair, with items such as seafood gumbo, crawfish etouffee and Gulf Coast Redfish, all of which have an amazing balance of spices.

The rich entrées at Pearl Dive Oyster Bar are further replicated in its dessert menu, with winning options like Beignets and Brazos River Bottom Pecan Pie.

This was my second time dining at Pearl Dive. The service was great and the food is always so yummy and HOT! I love when my dishes are brought out fresh and hot. Drinks were on point too. We ordered a few different kinds of gumbo, the catfish entree and oysters. I also appreciate that the waitress brought complimentary champagne and a little candle to celebrate my birthday.

Outstanding meal and service. Had a large business dinner - 9 people at two adjacent tables - 5 and 4, and Roxy was our server. She handled everything impeccably. The food was excellent and the wine was great and affordable. The fresh daily market grilled fish was delicious. Sides were awesome. Unfortunately did not make it to the dessert course and I think that was a grave error. Will definitely return.

The food was delicious and service was great with the exception of one thing. The restaurant charges a 4% fee to use a credit card. Because of this our party decided to pay cash. Our bill was $158.29 without the 4% fee. We paid $200 in cash in the form of two $100 bills. The change that was provided was only $40.00. Granted what wasn't given was "only" $1.71, but don't charge a 4.0% credit card fee if you're not going to give ALL the change to the customer. Also, depending on the time of year, be wary of mosquitos.

1 of D.C.'s BEST Oyster venues. Pricey, but worth splurging. About a 1/2 mile walk to the Metro which makes it convenient. Won't be seated until everyone is present

This was me and the wife's first time and Pearl Dive Oyster Palace for her birthday and we both agree... the food was amazing. From the Appetizer's to the cocktails, from the main courses to the desserts, the was one of the best food experiences that we have ever had at a seafood restaurant.

I LOVE this place! One of the BEST places for oysters in DC. My only wish...not even complaint...is they would consider fine tuning some of their items to be gluten free. For example they have a corn meal crusted oyster ...that has regular flour - WHY? Just make it with corn meal. And they have potato latkes at brunch...but they use flour - WHY? Just use potatoes! There are other options but very simple changes would open up their menu to us GF people significantly. See y'all soon!
