   Pearl is always top notch. It was very busy this day with the French match having people knocking about in rugby jerseys which is not normal.

   We started our evening on a positive note with delicious cocktails that set a great tone for the night. The starters were full of flavor, though slightly on the small side. Unfortunately, the mains didn't live up to expectations. Both the halibut and venison arrived cold, with the halibut being undercooked, and the broccoli side order was only warmish at best. The cheese board was also a letdown—while the crackers were a generous portion, the cheese selection didn't match the high standards one would expect for the price and prestige of the restaurant. Overall, it was a bit disappointing, especially since we were Merrion guests and had been looking forward to the experience. While the manager kindly offered a liquor as a gesture of goodwill, by that point, we had already had enough to drink. Would not return!

   As always, a wonderful evening in Pearl with food beautifully presented and a delicate range of tastes accompanied by great wines. Service was excellent, friendly and discreet. Thank you to Maeve who looked after our group so well and the manager who regularly checked in with us. Excellent value too.

   Delightful. Maximum under all categories. Minimal music interference which is an exception to note and experience. Exceptional overall and in particular staff cotribution. Thanks to ALL. James and Nora.

   Lovely evening at Pearl with excellent service and a very warm welcome from the minute we arrived. Beautiful food and generous cocktails. We will be back!
