This was our first visit and with our friends it proved to be a great experience with a lovely selection of food and wine selection. The food was of a very high quality with generous portions but it was the friendly and helpful service that made the evening a really enjoyable one . We will certainly be back hopefully soon.

Very good service and excellent food. Small venue so nice nice and intimate. Had the best piece of pork in my life! We have eaten in some top restaurants and this is right up there. Wish i lived in Hildersham. Will go again.

Outstanding lamb roast dinner with all the trimmings. All cooked perfectly. Great wine list and nicely refurbished dining area. Highly recommend and good luck to the new owners!

Couldn’t fault anything; all 4 of us thought quality of food was wonderful, service was excellent, very friendly atmosphere. It was a bit expensive but it was a special occasion and we couldn’t imagine anywhere else locally delivering to such a high standard.

What an unbelievable gem of the place . The food is quite simply outstanding and the service was perfect . Small menus , great wine list that pairs well with the food on offer . Simply put , 5 stars is not enough .
