Our families favourite place to go to locally. Absolutely 2nd to none! So friendly. Foods amazing. Helpful in explaining every detail about food and wine choices. Looking forward to our next visit already.

We returned after visiting the Pear & Olive a couple of times and it was a real joy again with wonderful food / great wine selection and perfect service both friendly and efficient. The quality and innovative food was wonderful and a lovely calm atmosphere to enjoy a meal . We will definitely be back and locals must support the hard work that all the staff put in to make it a success.

Our meal was excellently presented, and tasted amazing. It was a bit quiet, but was early on a Thursday evening so no complaints. Overall we were really happy with everything and will certainly be back again soon.

An intimate dining experience with a friendly welcome and good service. We enjoyed our delicious, beautifully presented dinner. We would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Friday lunch time, could not fault the menu the service, the atmosphere, added to that we had sunshine. All in all a must visit!

Amazing food and service in a beautiful cosy restaurant. Jade looked after us so well and I really can’t find any reason to score anything less than top marks for the whole experience. I would 100% recommend the Pear & Olive. It’s not the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for, well worth the price, delicious well cooked food with the atmosphere and service to back it up. Perfect, will be back asap. Thank you .

Lovely evening in Pear & Olive. Friendly service. My husband finds his cod slightly salty and the sauce is a bit rich. We both love the starters, courgettes with goat cheese and chalk stream trout. Will definitely visit again.
