We have eaten here before a few years ago so decided to return. Very nice meal, food was tasty although the menu had changed slightly with some of the dishes we enjoyed before no longer available. The staff were friendly, however if ordering a spirit and mixer make sure you specify if you want a single or double, we were served doubles without being asked and the drinks here are not cheap (£18 for a double vodka and coke)!!! We did query this and was told that this was standard practice but did receive a refund.

All staff except one were good. One person very unhelpful indeed.

Staff were all welcoming and friendly. Lovely view from table. Good communication. Food was delicious.

Good food and great views. Chef is clearly very competent and innovative. Some of the dim sum could be better filled and the cheung fun skins were a little thick compared to some higher quality places. Scallop Siu Mai was delicious and so was the crab dumpling. Will go back and try the Beijing duck.

Food is way over priced for what it is. You’re better off going to China town. Do not get the kung poa chicken the dish is basically made up with chillies and peanuts & horrible black whole peppercorns. I had to pick through the dish to get the meat. The calamari was dry and overcooked and way too salty. The rice was bland and unseasoned. It’s not worth the prices they’re charging. Service is lovely but food majorly lacks

Food was delicious, service was amazing. I would say the the food did not match the value for money. I would expect the bill to be cheaper for what I ordered. With that being said, the beef fried rice with black truffle was delicious. I felt cold for the whole time I was seated. I would still recommend The Peacock to friends and family.

It was very difficult to find the restaurant within the building where it is located. The service was distracted and distant. We had to ask for someone to take our order. We had to ask for someone to bring us the bill after waiting a long time. The food was excellent quality however the portions were modest for the price. It was not a welcoming experience.
