Benvenuto and welcome to Pazzo, a new Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Halifax. Inspired by our love affair with Italian cuisine, we’ve beautifully transformed two floors of a Barrington Street heritage building into a cozy bar on the lower level and a gorgeous dining area upstairs. With a focus on fresh handmade pasta, meats and cheeses cured in-house, and wines that flow as freely as laughter around a family dinner table, we invite you to join us on a journey of Italy’s rich food culture and la dolce vita!

Absolutely wonderful place for a celebration! Everything was perfect…ambiance, food and the service was outstanding! Andrew was incredible and our entire group just loved him. Thanks so much for a fantastic evening.

This was a good way to celebrate a family birthday. Our waiter was exceptional and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.The Caesar salad was delicious and the focaccia was excellent. Our main courses were good but not very hot. That’s our only complaint; otherwise a lovely choice for a special occasion.

Great ambiance and drinks, but this is the second time I've gone and the food wasn't seasoned properly.

The service was great, but we were disappointed in the quality of the food considering the high prices. There are other Italian restaurants we would go to over this. I wanted to like it really bad because the restaurant is beautiful, so it’s too bad that the food didn’t meet our expectations. We did have very good wine, so could be a good spot for drinks but I don’t think I would go back for a meal.
