Paya is an exuberant, island-inspired restaurant and bar located on Miami’s South Beach founded by Mohamed “Mo” Alkassar and Chef Niven Patel, the duo behind FEAL Hospitality. It is a platform for Chef Niven Patel to pay homage to the insular cuisines of the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and Spain’s islands, where he and Mo have either worked or visited extensively. Chef Niven’s dishes incorporate ingredients he grows at Rancho Patel, complemented by vibrant wines and tropical, farm to glass cocktails.

The restaurant features 56 dining room seats, 25 bar seats, and 8 raw bar seats, with a gorgeous display of fresh seafood. Expect to jam to some Manu Chao style music while basking in the vibrant island vibes and flavors. South Beach has been home to Mo since he moved to Miami in 2016, and Paya is his thank-you to the community that supported him through his journey.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Paya, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is inviting and modern, creating the perfect backdrop for a delightful meal. The menu offers a creative blend of dishes that are both innovative and comforting. We opted for the tastingmenu, which was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. All of the dishes were perfectly cooked and exceeded my expectations. Our server Ariel was excepcional and and made sure our meal was a great experience.The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Ramiel was also attentive to our needs and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Paya is a fantastic addition to the local dining scene. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy delicious food in a welcoming atmosphere. I can’t wait to return and try more of their offerings! Thank you, Chef Niven, Mo, and your team! Congratulations on yet another amazing restaurant

Paya is a great, new restaurant with a menu of delicious , unusual dishes made with the highest quality ingredients. There is a good vibe built on food and service, not show as in so many new Miami restaurants. I don’t live on Miami Beach, so seldom go there for restaurants. I will make the trip for Paya.

can't say enough good things about Paya Miami! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was transported back to the vibrant Miami Vice days of the '70s. The decor is stunning and really sets the mood. Now, let's talk about the food—wow! Every single bite was a revelation. It felt like each dish was crafted with love and creativity, and I found myself savoring every flavor. Honestly, each plate was better than the last, and I couldn't get enough! The atmosphere was electric with great music that added to the overall experience. I truly felt immersed in the spirit of Miami. If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience, I highly recommend Paya Miami. It’s a place where great food, amazing . I can't wait to go back!

This new place is a Little gem in Miami Beach, the ambience, lighting, everything is so nice decorated, however the main reason is you Never going to find such delicates and exquisite dishes with insane flavors like the Brie cheese grilled sandwich is the best sandwich I’ve had by far, the Wagyu tartare absolutely delicious, the scallops, the lemongrass fish and the dessert were incredible rum cake and the soursop ice cream… I’d highly recommend this place 💯

Excellent food and atmosphere. The music was also great and not just your typical Miami club beats. The fish dishes are the real standouts here with flavors that are bright and punchy. The dining room is really well decorated and intimate as well with some cool bar spaces. We will be back!

Paya, a newly opened Caribbean-style restaurant in Miami Beach, offers a delightful dining experience. The warm welcome and casual elegance of the ambiance set the tone perfectly. Upon arrival, fresh Caribbean fruits create an inviting centerpiece. The friendly service is knowledgeable yet unobtrusive. Cocktails and Mock-tails were all flavorful and well presented not sweet! Mo Garita named and created by partner Mo, (as per our server) was well balanced and creative which pairs with the style of food. Partner & Chef, Niven Patel's menu features creative and flavorful dishes showcasing authentic Caribbean flavors married with fresh ingredients over stunning presentation. All dishes were great, difficult to pick one, some of the highlights include the SCALLOP CRUDO with fresh peaches, PEI MUSSELS with Tomato Broth, Lemon, Scallions, Sourdough, very flavorful, the tamarind-glazed lamb chops very tender and perfectly cooked, the CALABAZA RAVIOLI Maitake Mushrooms, Goat Cheese, Chili Crunch, delicate with fall flavors, can not forget the Piri Piri chicken going back to some family roots, was tender, moist and flavorful. To top it off, all three desserts were exceptional, COFFEE PANNA COTTA was absolutely perfectly balanced with texture and flavor making for a truly memorable meal.
