Overall the experience was pretty good, enjoyed all of the food that was ordered by each person. Our server was a little scattered and inattentive, but overall the experience was good and I would definitely go back.

Excellent meal as always! We were dining with friends who haven’t been to Pavesi in many years. They spend a lot of time in Italy, so they know excellent Italian food. They were VERY pleased with the food and loved how present the owner was, coming by several times! I have no doubt they will return on their own.

Service was excellent. Atmosphere was nice, and quiet. Presentation very nice. We had appetizers, entrees and dessert. My husband enjoyed his food. I enjoyed the soup appetizer- it was delicious. My entrée, however, was much too salty. It was a fish special that evening. Even the vegetables were too salty. I found this strange, and wondered if the chef ever tasted their dishes before serving that night. Desserts were good, with nice presentation. Overall, given the reasonable prices, location, service and atmosphere, I would still recommend this restaurant.

We had a table outside on a beautiful night. Food was excellent, the ambiance perfect and we met the chef. Great night out!

Pre-show dinner that night before the Mayo, booked the restaurant not having dined there before . It was deserted when we got there , except for the dapper owner and a few waitstaff. We asked for an outdoor table since the weather was so nice , we’re seated outside under a covered patio next to the church . Great choice , although the inside of the restaurant is beautiful also . Very young waitstaff , runners had limited English , but they were carefully supervised and did a great job . Our waitress was great , very attentive . We are foodies , have dined at dozens of truly great restaurants , and know how challenging it is for any restaurant to excel given the current state of our economy/ inflation /scarce staff . We had the calamari appetizer , and ordered the Chicken Scarpariello and Chicken Parmigiana to keep it very simple for our assessment , and they came through with flying colors !!! Probably 5 similar cuisine choices within a two blocks if the location , but the vibe and food service here was excellent . Will definitely be back .

We went here for a girls’ night out and were so happy we did! The service was great - our waitress was friendly, patient (we were very chatty catching up) helpful and professional. Our meals were excellent- I had the best chicken Marsala I’ve ever had. The rest of my group was very happy. Everything was presented beautifully and the food was delicious and high quality. The portions are generous too, so bring an appetite or expect left overs. I will definitely return!
