Investment in consistent staff and their basis training will fail this restaurant. We've been going since they opened and they are making poor management decisions. I hope they change this.

The food and service were excellent. However we went on a Sunday night and we were one of only 3 tables present and the music was so loud it was nearly impossible for my friend and I to have a conversation. When I asked the waitress if the sound could be turned down, she apologized and said management is insisting on having it this loud and she agreed that it is too loud. I will not return there again because the volume of the music was way too loud. Especially on a quiet evening with only 3 tables. Maybe that's why there were only 3 tables that evening.

Terrible sushi with very limited selection. Would not recommend for anything but drinks.

If you are looking for an ultra lounge experience, you'll have better luck elsewhere. While the food was nice, if overpriced, the service and drink options left much to be desired. In addition, the lounge chairs weren't built to be sat under such high tables (or any kind of dining table for that matter), so the decor vibe is really off. Instead of mountain views, you'll see a megachurch. Instead of a wine or beer list, you'll have just a cocktail list. Save yourself the trouble of schlepping up two tall flights of stairs and spending well over $100 during happy hour, and instead check out the friendlier, more reasonably priced gastropub across the street.

The food was good again - 2nd time going here. They updated their menu and added items. Small mix up on how much their system charged cucumber roll ($16 instead of $5). They fixed it. Will return!

When we first sat down my wife noticed old gum stuck to her plate. We got another plate and the chopsticks looked like they had dry blood on them. We got another plate and it had crusty food under the napkin. The next plate was clean. The menus were really dirty. There was soy sauce, dried rice, water stains. We got multiple menus and they are where like that. The stuff was nice and apologized. On the good side of things the drinks are great. Presentation was awesome. I got the Pause and it was a smoked old fashion. The sushi was good too. One downside was they were out of some ingredients to make the High Roller which seems like their go-to roll. My wife and I agreed a good place to try but Sushi Ato is a better choice for sushi if you are in the area.

March 6th, I took my family to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were all extremely disappointed with what the waiter says the best and most popular sushi. He said the "Hey DJ" is their favorite. We all ordered the same, as there is not a great selection of sushi. I honestly feel like that sushi is NO DIFFERENT than sushi at grocery stores. They were extremely small (smaller than supermarket sushi), no special taste. To pay $22 for grocery style sushi is extremely expensive for such tiny sushi. The appetizers: Scallop Crudo and the Tuna Trio Shooters were good. This restaurant has lots of potential as the view of Pikes Peak is outstanding, and the ambience is really nice. They need to experiment with more sushi and larger size sushi.
